Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) has gained significant ground in New York’s gubernatorial race and is now within “striking distance” of Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), with inflation and crime as the leading issues, a new poll revealed on Thursday.
Zeldin has seen a 16-point swing in his favor with likely voters since August, as Hochul is now under 50 percent in the final weeks of the gubernatorial race.

The common message is that Zeldin has come out of New York City with 30 percent or more of the vote there to win statewide.
He needs 35% of the NYC vote and he’ll beat the witch.
What does Dominion Voting Systems say?
I can see him doing very well in areas like Jefferson (Ogdensburg and Watertown area), Central Leatherstocking, Long Island, Finger Lakes, and other such areas.
I hope he wins but I gather this poll is 50-41, and 47-? among likely voters.
States like this have chased out Republicans. Incredible they would elect a Democrat under current conditions.
As others have pointed out, about 35% in NYC, 30% if he runs really well upstate. To do that, he needs to run huge margins in SI, which he will probably do and make bigger inroads into Queens, which despite being ethnically diverse, is the 2nd best boro for Republicans. Eastern Brooklyn is trending more Republican of late. He’ll also need to clean up in LI, which is his home base and then run much better than Republicans have recently in upstate. He’s got a good chance. NY is screwed up but this would essentially be Cuomo’s 4th term and nobody really likes Hochul.
If they get that fraud Hochul, they only have themselves to blame. And dont move to a red area where people vote and act like decent citizens after you crapped your own nest.
I saw a poll today saying Zeldin was at 37% of NYC votes.
How is horse face hochul in the lead? Once again the entire state and LI is red and a little dot of blue in the city wins the election, criminal
