Democrats Are Having Trouble Holding Onto Their Coalition

Democrats in cities across America are having trouble holding their coalitions together.

In Los Angeles, the battle is over power in the form of representation on the City Council; in San Francisco and New York, it’s over affordable housing and access to public schools; across the nation, it’s over tough versus tolerant criminal prosecution and lenient versus punitive approaches to homelessness.

These tensions are, in turn, aggravated by white gentrification and have one thing in common: limited or declining resources, with shuttered businesses no longer paying taxes evident on downtown streets. An absence of growth prevents elected officials from expanding benefits for some without paring them for others.

Political tensions between African American, Hispanic American, Asian American and white communities in Los Angeles are now on full display as a result of the publication of a secretly taped conversation that exposed the crude, racist scheming of three Hispanic City Council officials and a Hispanic labor leader — who were, in the main, angling to enhance their power at the expense of Black competitors.

These zero-sum conflicts epitomize the problem for liberals struggling to sustain a viable political alliance encompassing core minority constituencies.

“In general, conflict among groups is more likely to emerge when resources are scarce,” Vasiliki Fouka, a political scientist at Stanford, and Marco Tabellini, a professor at Harvard Business School, said by email, in response to my inquiry about Democratic intraparty tensions: “This is especially true when groups perceive each other as different and have different priorities and preferences.”

So the Democrat lips chapped from the continuous kissing of Black ass isn’t as productive as required.

Because cities would be so much better if those neighborhoods were left as run down slums rather than being fixed up my new homeowners.

Joe Biden was so desperate for midterms that he begged Saudi Arabia to interfere with our midterm elections by holding back on their production drop until after our elections!!! They asked for a foreign country to interfere with our elections!!! Didn’t this same group impeach Trump implying that he asked Russia to interfere????

Dumb-ocrats finding their windows of “intersectionality” growing smaller and smaller. Every group wants a bigger slice of the pie.

This was the case four years ago.

Deep State didn’t have to steal the 2016 election because of Republicans.

It had to steal it because of MAGA red Donald Dem DINOs.

You know, the people Deep State refuses to talk about.

The people it truly fears.

The Saudis did a masterful job of interfering in the election. They kicked Biden’s ass by lowering production and raising gas prices.

The Arabs prefer the policies of President Trump to those of the wishy-washy and ineffective Joe Biden

Ghettos are cheap. The slummier the better. This gives the slumdogs more cash to buy drugs and hookers.

The DemoNazis have long been a party of special interests. Blacks, gays, Hispanics, pro-abortion, pro-anarchy, and unions. They all have different wants. But the Blacks and Hispanics are finally waking up to the reality that the DemoNazis don’t give a crap about them. They have over-promised and under-delivered to both communities for decades and now the DemoNazis are allowing uncontrolled immigration of millions of illegals who are bringing third-world problems with them like crime and polio and extreme poverty and the entire country is getting sick and tired of it.

My 21 year old daughter thinks that gentrification is bad because the poor people are being run out of their neighborhoods. I try to explain that the neighborhoods are slums and the houses are dumps and that the gentrification of the hones means that the home values for everyone goes up as the neighborhood is improved. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Well, if you are someone who can barely afford your rent being forced out with nowhere to go…. Or seeing your decades long neighbors being forced out, you aren’t going to be too happy about it.

Low income need to live somewhere… they generally have little political connection or power so they are the most likely to get run over when powerful folks decide they want to do something…

Don’t kid yourself that there is no basis for their concerns.

It’ll be interesting to see how much longer they can con working class minorities into thinking that they’re still the party of the working man.

They obviously aren’t. They are utterly dominated by rich White urban elites.

How long can Jews ignore the constant antisemitism of the Left? Yes, its coming overwhelmingly from the Left.

How long will Muslims and for that matter Hispanics and Blacks be able to ignore the transgender ideology and shoving sex in little kids’ faces in school?

How long will Asians keep tolerating being the targets of violent criminals (Democrats released from prison and/or refused to put in prison) and being openly discriminated against for school admissions (by Democrats)?

Think of all those good paying working class jobs in fracking and drilling and manufacturing working class minority men are denied (along with working class Whites) because of Democrat ideology.

How long will women tolerate fully intact trannies claiming they “identify” as women now and simply obliterating girls in sporting events? How long before some college coach figures it out and awards scholarships to trannies instead of to real girls? The women’s rights movement fought very hard for Title IX. Are they just going to give it up without a fight?

The Kabuki theater can’t last. The interests of several of the groups are diametrically opposed to one another.

That’s another good point. I didn’t even mention mass illegal immigration which crushes the wages of the working class. The thing is everybody including Blacks and including Hispanics has long known this and long favored a secure border for this reason.

That’s on top of the Gaia worship which hits poor and working class people a lot harder than those who can bear the higher gas and home heating oil, etc prices.

The Democrats plainly don’t care about their interests.

In 1990 the top stone and brick masons were dominated by honest, hard-working blacks. Illegal immigration destroyed that because the illegals were willing to work for much lower wages under the table. In all, an illegal immigrant will cost the taxpayers about $10,000,000 over 25 years in government handouts, educating their children, and accepting cash payouts that they don’t pay taxes on. And not to mention the suppressed wages.
