Saudi prince sends threat to the West after Biden warns of consequences for kingdom

A Saudi prince related to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's seemingly took aim at President Biden and the U.S., warning leaders not to threaten Saudi Arabia.

"Anybody that challenges the existence of this country and this kingdom. All of us, we are products of jihad, and martyrdom," Saudi Prince Saud al-Shaalan, who is married to one of the grandaughter's of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud, said in a video that was posted to Twitter Saturday. "That's my message to anybody that thinks that it can threaten us."

King Abdulaziz Al Saud founded Saudi Arabia.

The video comes amid a time of unprecedented tensions between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, with the oil-rich kingdom leading an OPEC+ decision last week to cut oil production despite American requests to increase exports.

There's going to be some consequences for what they've done with Russia," Biden said during an interview with CNN last week.

In response, Saudi Arabia released a long statement of its own denying the decision was made to help Russia.

"The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would first like to express its total rejection of these statements that are not based on facts, and which are based on portraying the OPEC+ decision out of its purely economic context," the Saudi foreign ministry said.

Cooler heads (those already in bed with the Saudis) will “reason” with Joe about his wrong thinking. The Saudis have spread enormous sums of money around Washington to insure they are invulnerable vis-a-vis repercussions on just about anything they do.

and all the World's countries specifically requested the mission to remove them

“All the world's countries” huh?
If I remember correctly, only 2 other heads of state joined Bush at the Azores for the infamous meeting at the Azores to plan for the war, Tony Blair and Jose Maria Aznar .
And the French bitterly fought the US at the UN over whether to even go start yet another war at all.
I remember the BY Post headline referring to the French as “surrender monkeys” over this.

So Diplomacy is dead? Funny how when GW said, “either your with us or against us”, the “Progressives” went nuts. Now they are egging Biden on. Why?
The Saudis are not our friends, never have been. But that’s no reason to arrogantly try to push them around. (More flies with honey…yada yada yada). They have their own national interests. The move by OPEC+ is a sign they are expecting an economic downturn and do not want to be stuck with a glut of cheap oil.
We could save ourselves by drilling more and building refineries but that means ditching esg trends.

If it wasn’t for oil, they still be a bunch of poor, warring nomads.

And if it wasn’t for POTATUS crushing domestic oil, we would be in a better negotiating position.

Biden’s energy policies have made the Saudis invulnerable. They don’t need to spread money around for influence like they used to. Wasn’t like that with Trump.

One wonders what the more devout Saudis think of the tales of Joe Biden showering with his daughter; being accused of sleeping with the baby sitter way back when; and of course, all the Hunter Biden stuff.

Bin Laden said something very true: "When a man sees a strong horse or a weak horse, he chooses the strong horse."

Biden is the back end of the weak horse.

Fixed it for you; no charge.

US and SA made a protection agreement 50+ years ago.

SA’s production capacity is far greater than actual production reqm’ts so that it can be ramped up / reduced to meet US’ domestic political demands. In return, the US guarantees the Saud family’s throne and ignores their brutality. Al-Sauds need that protection, they have lots and lots of enemies. That is also why 90% of the 9-11 hijackers were Saudi but our gov gave the Saudi ‘princes’ in the US on 9/11 1st class tix home, no questions asked.

It most accurately resembles a racketeering operation. Like the mafia. Yes, that’s our gov.
