‘Trump’s Unelectability Will Be Palpable’: Paul Ryan Says Trump Won’t Win GOP Nomination Again
Dailycaller.com ^ | 10/14/22 | Arjun Singh

President Donald Trump will likely lose the Republican presidential primary race in 2024 and, failing that, the general election should he decide to run again.

“Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know if it matters,” Ryan stated. “He’s not going to be the nominee, I don’t think.” Ryan made the comments during an appearance with Kevin Kajiwara, CEO of Teneo, the public affairs consulting firm of which Ryan is vice chairman, at their office in Manhattan.

Ryan also accused Trump of using “fear and intimidation” to maintain political influence over the Republican Party, which he predicted would end poorly. “Whenever you try to do that, it ends the way Hemingway talked about bankruptcy,” he said, “it goes along for a while until it [steeply] drops.”

Ryan said that most Republican candidates were “hurting their own ambition,” by refusing to criticize him. However, he said that Trump’s influence could wane when a critical mass of anti-Trump Republicans emerge, remarking that “as soon as you sort of get the herd mentality going, it’s unstoppable. … Trump’s unelectability will be palpable.”

“The one inexhaustible power in politics in ambition,” Ryan claimed. “You can count on that” to yield a serious challenger to Trump in 2024.

One astute Freeper recently described DeSantis perfectly. He’s a totally managed political figure. That’s not an overt criticism … it’s just the way our system works.

The problem is that all too often, it DOESN’T work for the people who pay the bills and employ these political figures.

I would suggest that every Freeper should sit down and review Ron DeSantis’ background carefully. Just list up to a half-dozen (or more) things that stand out from his biography — Ivy League (twice) lawyer … brief tenure at DOJ … career politician … never worked outside government … etc. If you read that biographical profile and didn’t associate it with a specific person, you’d swear it fit the profile of a “Deep State” political operative to a T.

Now look around Washington these days. The place is filled with these people, and Donald Trump ran for office to fight this kind of sh!t.

Ron DeSantis is “managed,” for sure. He will play the role of the outsider and the renegade while he must, but when push comes to shove and he’s faced with a consequential decision in the White House where his principles are up against the financial interests behind the political forces there … you can be damn sure he’s going to come down on the side of Exxon/Mobil, Boeing, Raytheon, the John McCain Institute, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Until then, he’s just George W. Bush in 2000 … insisting that the U.S. should never get involved in “nation building” around the globe.

It’s amazing how easily so many people here are fooled by this nonsense.

You realize, the coward Paul Ryan quit congress in 2018 along with a host of other cowardly, backstabbing GOPe losers. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

He now sits on the board of your favorite news network Fox and he is working for a public relations firm Teneo which is in neck deep in the criminal muck with the most famous Arkansas couple known for their “Arkanciding” of any opponents or whistleblowers. Talk about a Manchurian Candidate, except Gomer Ryan was too much the pussy and knew his grubby little dick beaters was too dirty and would get outed to stay inside to do more damage than he did.

You recall the congressional hush fund he maintained for running cover for congressmen who wrote bad checks, continued the great Kennedy/Dodd Waitress Sandwich plays and other underhanded activities practiced in the hallowed halls of D.C. once again, good riddance to bad rubbish.

>>Trump Won’t Win GOP Nomination Again<<
I believe he is right. Not for the same reason though. Paul Ryan is part of the swamp, and he probably has insight others do not have with regard to the japping of Trump leading up to and in 2024.

I see the full weight of the feral government, state and local governments, intelligence community and individual swamp creatures actively working to degrade Trump’s base.

Legal jeopardy from some lady accusing him of sexual misconduct, DOJ positioning to indict, state of NY district atty. seeking to indict, J6 idiots working to disqualify his candidacy.

In the end, 2024 primary season will be a freaking circus. Republicans will flood the candidate field with candidates to water down Trump support.

AND the cheating behind the scenes from democrats and republicans. Trump is a danger to the globalist and D.C. elites. If I were Trump, I’d have a taste tester and advise him to wear a Kevlar vest even as he is showering.

Fear and intimidation? I don't feel even slightly fearful of...or intimidated by...DJT. However,I can see how Maoists...and RINOs...would fear 1.5% inflation...$1.89 a gallon gas...electricity at 11 cents a killowatt hour...$1.99 a gallon milk...store selves fully stocked with everything we could possibly need or want...a national debt half of what it is today...a southern border sealed tight...rogue nations refraining from threatening,or invading, weaker neighbors...people not being forced to choose between food and heat...

If some Rat somewhere indicts him...Georgia,NYC,Albany or DC...it's unlikely he'll be the nominee. My money's on him being indicted by *someone* in the next 12-18 months.

However, this limp wristed nobody is saying that DJT doesn't *deserve* to be the nominee? Do you agree with *that*?

Where did Paul Ryan come from??
He was handpicked and groomed decades ago by lobbyist/immigration attorney Cesar Conda to be an open border stooge, which he did perfectly. I haven’t been able to prove it yet, but I think Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico owns them both. Slim did business with Hunter too!

Republicans will flood the candidate field with candidates to water down Trump support.

That’s not likely to happen — or at least not for that reason. The larger the field of candidates, the more likely Trump will win primaries with solid pluralities. That’s what happened in 2016.

The only way to defeat him in a primary campaign is to have the party get behind ONE other contender.

Or..... Ryan took the Speaker’s job because no one wanted it. Ryan saw the opportunity to as Speaker, pass his tax cuts.

He accomplished that task. Having done that, he did what he came for and left.

He was not conservative, he was Republican. He did America a great, great service as a Republican by supervising and passing the greatest tax reform law in history.

BTW...... he got the Speaker job because he was elected by the members of the House of Representatives.

If DeSantis runs against Trump it’s because he’s one of them and I would never support him.

So you will waste a vote...rather than elect the nominee. From the beginning...it wasn’t suppose to be that way.
