A career criminal with 40 prior arrests who allegedly pickpocketed a dead man in Manhattan was freed without bail at her arraignment Friday — as sources said she tried to use the victim’s stolen cash but couldn’t because it was covered in blood.

Repeat offender Geniece Draper, 40, stayed mum as she faced charges of both grand and petit larceny for allegedly snatching the wallet of a man who was crushed by a truck last week.

“This defendant appeared on video taking money out of a dead man’s pocket,” a prosecutor said at the arraignment hearing.

The only people who seem to go to jail are people who haven’t done anything wrong.

Lee Zeldin is within the margin of error, some polls have it statistically tied, but I know deep down he’s not going to win. Too much fraud, plus the illegals there en masse will give Hochul the victory. I just think that it’s time to either break up states or revert them back to territory status, because they’re clearly incapable of running their own affairs.

I was on a jury for a murder trial a couple of years ago. The murder took place in Gary, Indiana, in the home of the accused while he and the victim and a couple of others were up drinking and drugging and playing video games. Something went awry and the accused shot the victim to pieces with an AK-47. We sent the killer away for good. After the trial, I decided to research the victim, the murderer, their families. I found news articles, FB pages, etc. I felt like I was reading about life in an entirely different universe. That’s what I also felt from reading this article. They were both apparently homeless. They had “dated”. He took the money from her, she says, and she was just recovering it. She could have killed him, she says but the truck got him first.

I can think of at least seven tiers to our injustice non-system:

1) Foreign invaders aka migrants
2) Democrats
3) LGBTZRSTUVWXYZ+ regardless of party
4) “People of Color” regardless of party
5) Muslims
6) Republicans in general
7) White, Christian, straight men

One of the most disturbing things about this was that there were people on the sidelines (picked up by the usual phone camera videographer) screaming “you go, gangsta,” etc.

Sometimes you’ll see references to impoverished places being “Dickensian,” that is, something that Charles Dickens would have written about to describe something awful.

If you read Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes stories) you will see references to the police but also to what were obviously locak vigilante or investigatory groups. Life among the poor of London was truly vicious...they were drunk most of the time - one writer describes an 8 year old girl who had been crushed in a gate pitiably begging for a glass of gin as she died - and they were brutal.

Life in the poor areas improved with WWI and WWII, oddly enough, but the point is that it has always been the smallest sector of the population that commits the majority of the crimes in the US,
