Republican candidate Christine Drazan now leads in the Oregon gubernatorial race by a margin of 6%, per a new opinion poll by Clout Research released on Thursday.
The poll showed Drazan gaining 44% of the vote to the Democratic candidate Tina Kotek’s 38%. Meanwhile, independent candidate Betsy Johnson is garnering 11% support among respondents.
Drazan’s lead in Oregon, a heavily Democratic state that hasn’t voted for a GOP presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan in 1984, comes as a significant surprise. Drazan, a former State Representative, has run a largely conservative campaign, focusing on the cost of living and ending homelessness in the state’s largest city, Portland.

Woohooo
Is she a Republican like Liz and Mitt? If so, I’d just as soon have the Rat win.

Wow!
How is a Oregon (R) ahead of PA (R)? PA , is pretty much a red state with the exception of 3 counties.
I don’t trust any of these polls....
Just being honest: it only helps my opinion of her that she is a very attractive and smart REDHEAD!
FWIW, the pic they show on the article is a bad pic of her.
Forget it, this is Oregon: I’m smelling that Johnson and Kotek are going to cut a deal: Betsy will withdraw and throw her support to Kotek.
Hard times make hard men. Hard men make good times. Good times make soft men. Soft men make hard times.
We have had good time for an extended period which allowed soft men to indulge in stupid liberal/leftist/socialist fantasies which in turn just about destroyed many of their cities, lives, and livelihoods.

I question that too. I saw the latest Trafalgar polls this morning which show both Republicans behind.
But...different polls, different states, different peoples, Democrats have had control of Oregon for a long period and the people collectively get tired of that. So a lot of factors.
But your point is valid. We’ll see what happens in a few weeks.

I report, you decide.
Philly has more black people than white people.
5.756 million population total combined.
The rat is so loony left, she’d make Liz or Mitt look like Ronald Reagan. Finally, even the Dems have had enough of her.
And what year did Oregon institute mail in voting...? 1981 for state elections...fed, not sure...but the real problem is in registration...
Not so sure, Betsy and Kotek do not like each other.
“Forget it, this is Oregon: I’m smelling that Johnson and Kotek are going to cut a deal: Betsy will withdraw and throw her support to Kotek”
BINGO. And there are always enough votes to be manufactured in the many homeless camps in the cities. Kotek controls the entire state machine which will do what is needed to install her. I hope I am wrong but since mail in voting there has never been a question the real power always goes to a communist progressive democrat.
That ain't happening...Johnson got in the race to stop Kotek from becoming governor
So how many orogoonians will be headed south to MEtopia of caulifourkneeyuh? Will the Oregon National Guard retake portland? With prejudice? 😯
