Run, Forrest!:)
I was always against the Libyan war launched by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
The Iraq case was much different. The USA had been in continual war with Iraq since they invaded Kuwait.
Civilian deaths are greatly disputed. The numbers are all over the map.
Every side gets to publish propaganda.
You ARE joking:)
More so with this war/conflict...
It’s so lopsided its not even remotely funny, but yeah.
you think Russia will launch another 75 missiles tomorrow?
Agree. Putin is tantruming again and begging the west to force Ukraine to surrender. A strong Russian leader would dominate Ukraine economically without all this mass murder. Putinist Russia is a weak and corrupt country so it must always resort to violence.
It is not my war. I have been saying, repeatedly, China is one of the big winners in this war.
They probably had as much to win from Russia depleting its army and weapons stockpiles as NATO, probably more.
But allowing Russia to take over a sovereign nation, which they helped to create, and repeatedly guaranteed the borders of, simply emboldens China.
There is nothing to negotiate with a lying Bolshevik like Putin. He’s violated every agreement he ever signed with Ukraine. The only settlement possible here is for Russia to leave Ukraine. They can do that today but chose not to.
You do realize that “sovereign Ukrainian territory” has been sovereign Russian (multiple times), German (multiple times), Ukrainian (multiple times), Polish, Turkish, Austrian, Hungarian, Belorussian, etc., etc. territory over the past 100 years. At least 15 times. You do realize we are talking about Donbas which is 40+% ethnic Russian (that you want to oppress). You’re pretty good at determining when the exact border in this area is perfect. All of the others are inferior to YOURS. And you’re ready to fight a nuclear war over those 60% in Donbas. Tell me, great sage, what is the perfect climate so we can destroy our self’s keeping it as you decree. Getting involved in this centuries old blood feud is even more stupid than trying to change the climate.
Russia has three options for its future:
1) Follow the Germany and Japan path of defeated rivals and become junior partners of the USA. Accept American dominance, but the yoke we force upon nations is a light one.
2) Become a vassal state to a China, which has no history of being gentle with its underlings
3) Be destroyed by the powerful empires on its borders.
Attacking a bridge that supplies an enemy’s forces is a legitimate military target, and is NOT a terrorist attack.
Putin is floundering for excuses now: First it was to demilitarize and “de-Nazify” Ukraine, and “rescue” the separatists in the Donbas. That excuse was ridiculed — and rightfully so — such that Putin had to come up with a new excuse, and one he’d been suggesting for many weeks: anti-terrorism.
Zelenski,Bidens NATO; righteous and justified in every action
we get it
Then hypersonic missions hit the iron dome sites. Lol
I guess I missed it when we bombed Russia into submission.
“No surprise here and again, this is what the west wants - war.”
Wait a minute: Wasn’t it Russia that invaded Ukraine, and not the other way around? And what “western” countries have invaded Russia?
A far stronger "shock and awe" campaign didn't induce the surrender of the Iraqi government in either 1991 or 2003, and it certainly won't happen in 2022 Ukraine. The real net effect will be that the Ukrainians will dig in their heels even more, and Russia will further deplete stockpiles of weapons that it can't replace.
Or go down fighting back. Which seems to be the option they’ve chosen.
“The citizens are the only ones with no one representing their interests.”
So NOW you’re concerned about citizens. What brought about that epiphany?
Containment is happening today. But it’s DC that a large chunk of the world is containing. Putin is containing NATO that is bent on world domination… so your analogy kind of works. Lol
