The presidential press office of Ukraine accused global media outlets of “nuclear hysteria” on Thursday for sharing remarks made by President Volodymyr Zelensky in which he asked the world for “preemptive strikes” on Russia to avoid nuclear war.
Zelensky made the remarks during a question and answer session with the Lowy Institute, an Australian think tank, on Thursday, asserting that NATO had a responsibility to “make it impossible for Russia to use nuclear weapons.

Notice we didn’t actually do anything when Putin went in and effed Chechnya in the Second Chechen War.
On the other hand, Chechnya achieved a kind of independence during the First Chechen War. This was back when Yelsten was president (and he had, shall we say, some weak spots). This brief period of independence is why I used the word “maybe”. Why didn’t you know about this brief period of independence? Does Putin not allow you to know about the history of your country?
Those who don’t know much about Chechnya, might think they would have been satisfied with their victory. But, no, not the Chechens. They’re not really renown for their brains. Instead of being satisfied with their victory, Chechnya tried to export its revolution to Dagestan and also committed acts of terrorism against Russian civilians in Moscow and against Russian school children in a rural town. Did they think the Russians would let these attacks on Russia itself go unpunished?
So, yeah, maybe Putin was a bit ruthless during the Second Chechen War, and some people registered complaints, but nobody complained much. You got Chechnya back and they’re again your problem.
You seem to think I’m in Russia. I’m in Australia. I know about the Chechyna conflict. Regardless, it is no more a vassal than Hawaii or Alaska. I wonder how the U.S would deal with Hawaii if an armed insurrection, followed by a declaration of independence by native Hawaiians occured. Hmmm
Demands include regime change for Russia. Maybe this will result in a 70 year cease fire as in Korea. With the Biden gang involved, it could be worse.
They don’t want a peace accord, they want for for “zi great reset.”
The simple fact that the Ruskies couldn't even take Kiev suggests that Russian military "aggression against NATO members" was & is a 'bogeyman' designed to secure US funding and/or promote Democrat electoral prospects. Putin is not Hitler, the Ruskies won't be in Warsaw next week if we fail to aid Ukraine, and we won't end up in World War 3 unless Joe Biden and his war groupies insist on it...
;>)
Huh? Why do we need to contain Russia? That was my question, and you repeated yourself. Nice work.
They aren’t threatening NATO, so I see no reason for us to help people to fight them.
What has Biden’s War on Energy unleashed? Will the world survive?
Because "our leaders" are either stupid, insanely ambitious, or both, and seem to be getting worse with the exception of Trump in this century. At least GWB's daddy had enough sense not to get stuck in the Tar Baby.
Such goofy hyperbole. Yawn. All this accusing others of being Putin because we are not for US funding and involvement in Ukraine which isn’t even an ally. We are sick of the ramped up nuke porn that people like you and Zelensky poop out every few minutes.
If I was Putin like you accuse me of being, I wouldn’t waste my time posting to you.
Putin has agreed to use nukes in defense. Zelenskyy brought up the offensive part of the deal. He’s already using our military’s weapons, so why not. Free for him, a major defensive loss for us. So if something happens down the road, we gave our weapons to Eukraine. Bidens world.

Ivan, this is America. Not Russia. You can’t tell me people what to do.
They’re telling YOU what to do, warmonger boy. Not me.
Cuba was a U.S. possession that wanted to be independent. The Philippines likewise. Most recently, Samoa. If you knew about Chechnya you would have known why I said “maybe” instead of act so stupid about it. If you knew about U.S. history, you would not have made the ridiculous statement you made about what we would do with places that want independence. We are the United States. Both parts of our name are important. We are states that are united. The old Soviet constitution said much the same thing. But, that constitution was a lie. Your republics were not free to declare independence. Even when your leaders signed documents recognizing independence, Putin can use military force to reunite the republic to Muscovy.
You see what the population of The Philippines is now? LOL, how many EVs would it have if we made it a State?
I like the cut of your jib!
Stop implying I’m Russian. I repeat, how would the U.S respond to Hawaii wanting out of U.S using the barrel of a gun.
