CNN — Sometimes you see a polling result that jumps out from the page. That was the case when I saw a recently released Gallup poll on who Americans think can better handle the issue that is most important to them.
Put in a historical context, this poll potentially portends very good things for Republicans come November.
We’re all used to polls that ask voters which issue is most important to them. Gallup puts the question to Americans open-ended, meaning a respondent can say anything from the mundane (e.g. inflation) to the inane (e.g. clowns).
Gallup, unlike other pollsters, has another twist on that question. They follow it up by pressing respondents to answer which party they think can better handle the issue that they just named as the most important.

I expect this could be even better than the Gingrinch Republican landslide - with the main difference being that this congress will not be the typical cowardly foxhole do-nothing deepstate RINOS.

Perhaps one easy to implement partial remedy would be a law that required once vote counting started, it would continue until the votes were tallied. No more midnight "take a break" and "come back tomorrow".

The “abortion election” narrative was always a dumb joke.
For starters, most women who might want an abortion in the future are already Democrats.
In addition most of those women who deeply care about abortion live in states where abortion is still legal—so their lives are totally unaffected by the decision.
Add to that the obvious massive inflation (particularly at the grocery store) which affects everyone—and it was obvious abortion was going to be a non issue.
How many Republicans follow and are influenced by CNN?

I’m still hearing that. I’m hearing Kansas was a lock for the GOP until the abortion ruling.
If the posting of results on election night, ceases around 8:30 local time, you know they need to ‘process’ external means to move the totals in their favor.
In many states, Dems get to count until they win.
About the only way to counter is a massive landslide of votes for the opposition [Pubbie], so massive as to be insurmountable without precincts having 150-200% voting results.
Look for the media in October to push Biden’s approval numbers up in hopes of making people think his policies are working.

Doesn't mean Jack-Shat- We had a historic lead in the 2020 election as well, until the thieves started the rollback after the polls were closed and everybody was in bed, and the way I see it, NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

Gallup’s latest data shows that 48% of Americans believe the Republican Party is best equipped, while 37% believe it is the Democratic Party.
This 11-point Republican edge is one of the best they have ever had. Looking at 20 midterm elections since 1946 when this question was asked, only once has the Republican Party had a larger advantage on this question. That was in 1946 when Republicans had a 17 point lead on the Democrats.
I’ve never understood how a woman who has carried a child for nine months and experienced the miracle of birth could support abortion. It’s one thing for a person who has never experienced such and thinks of it in abstract, versus a person who has actually gone through the process. It is a child from conception and women feel the growth throughout their pregnancy. It’s not as if the “clump of cells” turns into a person after exiting the birth canal. Most women realize this fact even though many try to deny it.
How could “suburban women” with children make their voting decision on this issue? I would think most would make their voting selections on the issues of the price of groceries, gas, and the increased costs of having their child enroll in piano lessons, little league sports, etc. I would also think parents would vote for the party that is for school choice and not having their child indoctrinated into the “trans” cult.
I suspect many parents may spout the “progressive narrative” at the office, but when it comes to the privacy of the voting booth, will quietly vote for the best interests of their family.
I believe that will be the red wave. Suburban moms who previously may have voted Democrat instead voting for the GOP candidate in their state or district, although never admitting it.
Ummm...from CNN. I guess they are trying to embed the idea it’s all over hoping to keep Republicans complacent and home come Nov.
