Crap! This is not good. Poland has no confidence in the US. Wonder the effing why?
The US Government hates Poland because it’s a Christian country, they only pay them lip service.
Tactical nukes are a different kind of banana than icbm’s.
Both sides have wanted to get data on how these work in real war situations.
If this is true, it may be related to concerns about instability in Russia related to the mobilization, or concerns about border transit being impeded during mobilzation. If Russians truly are attempting to flee their own country, Russia could clamp down on all cross-border traffic to stop it.
Rumor, heard in the 70s from a relative, who had it told to him by somebody who had heard (etc):
The US Army ran simulations about Russia attacking Western Europe which gave control over tactical nuclear weapons to the field commanders.
When NATO started losing (which happened from time to time in the drills) the generals reached for the biggest nukes that could use — and took out their own troops along with the Russians.
It would be nice if the U.S. would accept the people from Poland and Bulgaria as refugees. However, these are people who understand communism and remember what it was like and would never vote for our current democrat party. So, the likelihood of Biden including them in his unwritten open border policy has the same chance as allowing defecting Cuban’s asylum. Any Pols or Bulgarians who try to do so would get the same treatment as Elian Gonzales.
