Former Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi has defended Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, saying Russia's leader was "pushed" into the conflict.
"The war in Ukraine is the tip of the iceberg of a conflict aimed at reshaping the world order," she said earlier this month. "So we have to fight this battle."

I will say one thing, the Ukie Army is standing up to the Russki invasion. That’s a hell of a lot more than our military is doing with armies of invaders pouring across our unprotected borders and taking over the country by becoming Feddy employees.
“Did we push Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor?”
We at least pushed them into attacking us in the Pacific - Japan chose Pearl Harbor, which was likely the best option for them.
“Did we push Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor?”
LOL. Yeah and did the west push Hitler into invading Poland etc. Maybe the Republicans pushed Obama into invading Libya too.
It’s always someone else’s fault with these people. :-)
No. Japan was absolutely bent on a course of war and conquest. Should we have continued to help Japan create more Nanking Massacres by supplying them with oil? I say no.
Doesn’t he have teenagers he needs to sleep with?
It certainly has been a handy gadget for closing down debates of all kinds.
“There is a photo going around Ukrainian social media showing the Soviet Union National Soccer Team from the 1980s. It has one Tatar, one Russian, and the rest were Ukrainians.”
You should see pictures of European Football teams.
What an astonishing load of decaying biomatter.
“they goaded by saying they were going to add Ukraine to NATO...but they had no intention...Putin was stupid to take the bait”
I don’t think Putin considers himself a mind-reader.
“Record Numbers Have Quit Finland Army Reserves Since Russia Invasion”
Probably claiming asylum in Russia, as anywhere else in Europe would deport them back to Finland.
If you actually knew what was going on, you wouldn't need to ask silly questions.
Ukraine had passed laws prohibiting the teaching, or even the use, of the Russian language being spoken in public. Since 2014, the Nazi element in Ukraine had been executing a reign of terror upon Russian speaking Ukrainians.
The western nations refused to intervene , and were in fact arming and training the Nazi element to attack the Russian speaking Ukrainians.
“There was already jealousy in that Ukrainians are known to have a better work ethic, take better care of their homes, and take better care of their streets.

This form of thinking is the primary reason why Ukraine is a failure. Your propaganda taught this flat out lie to them even though their success was provided by Russia and Belarus - the only solvent Soviet Republics.
Without their input Ukraine turned in dirt-poor cesspool of corruption?
Who the failed loser hates the most? The former downers he used to look upon with contempt who do much better than him.
It may be legitimate to invoke "Godwin's Law" when the issue at hand is "Coworker Invites Everyone But Me to Going-Away Party at Fancy Restaurant!" or "Grandma favors one grandchild over another!" etc. - but when the issue is the unprovoked invasion, by an autocratic nuclear power, of a peaceful non-nuclear neighboring country, including the rocket-bombing of civilian centers, annexation of territory on the basis of phony referendums, etc., comparisons with Hitler aren't that far off the mark!
Regards,
“Since 2014, the Nazi element in Ukraine had been executing a reign of terror upon Russian speaking Ukrainians.”
It seems many here have NO PROBLEM with that (or deny it ever happened), since they Russians (yuck) after all.
Your context wasn’t unprovoked aggression. It was jews and gas chambers, and that historical facet is unique to European anti-semitism.
Really? Who has the clout to push Putin around?
Bin Laden was pushed into committing 9/11. He tried his best not to but had no choice but bring those towers down.
Tit for Tat. The Russians have on numerous occasions prohibited the Ukrainian language and teaching it. The entire reason for the mass moving of Russian speakers into Ukraine was to destroy and Ukrainian identity. The Ukrainians saw this as a threat and took appropriate action.
It used to be that anyone immigrating to the United States had to learn English. I knew someone born to Central American parents who settled in California. He was in high school and spoke barely a word of English. The school system insisted on teaching him in Spanish. When the school’s resource officer told him if he got into one more fight, they’d send him to reform school he quit and went to work for a Cuban plumber. The Cuban would not allow him to say one word in Spanish. Whatever he needed the Cuban would sit with him and force him to ask it in English. His gratitude to the Cuban was boundless. He’s now running his own plumbing business. Controlling what language someone speaks is how that government builds or destroys a culture. Ukraine is trying to build their own culture, not Russia’s. If it’s in Ukraine than speak Ukrainian. Just as if it’s in the US, then speak English. Or rather it should be.
There is always more than one side to any issue.
There are valid arguments for both sides to that question.
The U.S. gave indications that it might eventually go to war with Japan. So the Japanese saw Pearl Harbor as a preemptive strike.
The U.S. and Israel have long supported the Doctrine of Preemptive Strike as a legitimate reason for attacking a nation. It was America's justification for the 2003 Iraq War.
