That’s great. Maybe they’ll hold a referendum in Brighton Beach and use nukes to steal that territory too.
The Germans called this Anschluss.
Another megalomaniac European fascist.

People rushing toward freedom.

Then comes the “bridge” to Moldova, and just like that, Ukraine is landlocked.

You do realize that for generations the USSR has been pumping military retirees and KGB retirees into Moldova and Ukraine. “Flooding the zone” as they say in American football. Transdnistria and Gen Medvedev are the model. Neighboring nations reporting tortured corpses floating down to the Black Sea.
Think for a second. If rasPutin and Russia have the moral high ground in this, why are they threatening the use of tactical nuclear weapons to protect their receding battlefield gains? Riddle me that.

” If rasPutin and Russia have the moral high ground in this, why are they threatening the use of tactical nuclear weapons to protect their receding battlefield gains? “
Because the IDIOTS in DC keep talking about them as if a nuclear war against Russia is something they can actually win.
Obviously there needs to be some INTELLIGENT discussions about these weapons, and Russia is making sure that happens.

...and if the Neocons REALLY feel they need a nuclear war to achieve their goals, then at least it will be an INFORMED decision.

Yep....not sure he’ll go that far but quite possible. For now th referendums are happening and looks like the people are very happy for that from what I’ve seen.

Well these particuliar peoples would prefer being in Russia’s domain than Ukraines....no question about that. Those showing up appear to be very excited - similar to Crimean people.

Reminds me of the Albanians flooding Kosovo.
After which we allowed them to have their own country without a referendum..
It’s a hard life.
Poland is telling the Czechs to return land they were given in the 1950s.
Border wars between 4 countries in former USSR.
And soon illegal aliens will hold a referendum in ElPaso.

Watched a few vidos of people dancing and celebrating......also voting lines are steady. I’m frankly happy for those people. They’ve lived through alot of distruction and death since 2014 and prior. It’s well past time IMO.

BTW - Putin did what he said by riding the area mostly of the Nazi thugs who were so entrenched there for so long. They would not be holding Referendums now had he not accomplished that first....and why he wouldn’t go forward prior when the people wanted this earlier.
