I’ve had some discussions with people about how earth has had ice ages in the past, and how Chicago was buried under a mile of ice during the last ice age. How did all that ice melt, was my question to them, as this happened thousands of years before the industrial revolution and coal fired power plants.
I never get any coherent answer to such questions. Yet these people swear that man is the reason we have seen climate change.

My wife have just been, incrementally, reducing our need to participate in most of our society’s culture and economy. We’ve also never been vaccinated and have no health insurance. We cover it all ourselves, trusting in the Great Healer, who has been unbelievably faithful.

This is already implemented with new appliances. It’s basically the Freon that was replaced with a different substance. Majority of Americans won’t even know the difference when they purchase their new appliances. The only thing I hate is that appliances don’t last as long as they used to. But I don’t think that has anything to do with the climate change proposal.

If you recently purchased a refrigerator look at the manufacturer’s data label. Your refidgerant is likely cyclopentane, which is highly flammable. Flurocarbon refrigerants were originally developed to be a nonflammable and relatively non toxic refrigerant. Thanks to the green mania we now have a bomb in our kitchens.

According to local media, the “correct” temperature is whatever the average high temperature is.
Case in point, the average high temperature is 85 today, but the forecast is 90 degrees. Instead of saying that today’s forecast is 5 degrees above average, the weatherman says that we’re 5 degrees above “where we should be”. Therefore, any deviation above or below average is evidence of climate change.
