If you recently purchased a refrigerator look at the manufacturer’s data label. Your refidgerant is likely cyclopentane, which is highly flammable. Flurocarbon refrigerants were originally developed to be a nonflammable and relatively non toxic refrigerant. Thanks to the green mania we now have a bomb in our kitchens.
That’s just great. Let’s hope nobody puts a new refrigerator close to the stove.
