A top executive at plant-based food company Beyond Meat was arrested after he allegedly chomped down on a man’s nose during a fight outside Razorback Stadium in Arkansas Saturday.
Chief Operating Officer Doug Ramsey faces charges connected to the unusual incident that was sparked from an altercation inside a parking garage following the University of Arkansas football team’s win over Missouri State.
Ramsey, 53, was attempting to leave in his Bronco when a driver in a Subaru nudged his way in front of him and made contact with his front passenger side tire, KNWA-TV reported, citing a preliminary police report.

Eating plants makes you aggressive. Just look at Cape Buffalo and Hippos.
“Beyond Meat” huh?
He loves meat. Just the human kind.
Chuckle.
The natural human need for red meat finally overtook him. Should have just gone to a steakhouse.
Sounds like he had a case of Mike Tyson fever. Anyway, the new Broncos are expensive as all get out, especially the tires. You have to basically get on a waiting list to buy one.
I think I’m going to trademark Beyond Cartilage before someone else can take it.
Protein-deprivation makes you butt-ugly.
Extended LOL there, which I really needed tonight.
Evidently he needed ... meat.
Henry Thoreau spoke of craving some rodent he saw scurrying about after many days/weeks of vegetarian diet while living near Walden pond.
Long Pig…
“Evidently he needed ... meat.”
Or, boogers.
“Beyond Meat COO accused of biting man’s nose outside Arkansas football stadium”
Does he not know that noses are primarily CARTILAGE, which is a MEAT product?
How’s he going to explain that to his boyfriend.
As bad as the Razorbacks played for 3 quarters, it doesnt surprise me.

He’s understandably on edge... McDonalds has canned their fake meat burger, as it wasn’t selling worth a crap, and the company stock is tanking. I ask you, can you imagine all the chemicals and processing it takes to make PLANTS taste even vaguely like meat? I have listened to pompous vegans for YEARS blather on about how “hot dogs are filled with WHO KNOWS WHAT and are HORRIBLE FOR YOU!!” And yet... all the silence about how Beyond is made.
I know Panda Express and Burger King are trying out fake meat. I don’t think catering to 1% of the population is going to make them any money.
Always cracks me up that the fakest food at Whole Foods is in the vegan section.
After several weeks hiking the Appalachian Trail, eating freeze dried rations; I started thinking of ways to murder and cook the odd rabbit that crossed my path too.
