The Russians on the "Southern Front" received large reinforcements for half a day via the Crimean bridge
The elite Ukrainian units that attempted the "Kherson counter-offensive" for the past six days did not achieve anything, and they paid for that with huge casualties and losses.
They briefly took over Blagodatnoe and another smaller settlement and wedged themselves into Russian positions southeast of Suho Stavok, 3-4 kilometers away, but the counterattack was so powerful that they had to return to their starting lines with two captured positions.
In the last 24 hours, the Ukris had 230 casualties, and they also lost 23 tanks and 27 armored infantry fighting vehicles, plus two Su-25 assault rifles.
In the six days of the Kherson counter-offensive, at least 3000 people died and 6-7 were wounded.

The US invaded Iraq and fought there for 8 years. Lost a bit over 4000 people. Our media was outraged at the bloodbath and liked to report a regular body count to convince people how horrible George W. Bush’s war was.
Ukraine stages a counter offensive and quickly loses 3000 people. Oh well.

It hasn’t failed yet. They achieved a literal breakthrough — something unusual in this war.
Now the question is whether they can exploit it.
To put it differently, I don't consider this kind of pro-Russian report any more reliable than I do the pro-Ukrainians. The truth on the ground is not going to be objectively evident for weeks, at least. Daily battlefield reports probably should just be tossed in the trash. They may be interesting reading, but there's just no way to know which ones are reliable, which ones are not.
But it’s got to be REALLY COOL to be a US or UK commander and send tons of Ukrainians to their deaths!!!
After all not only do you not have to deal with their families, you cannot even speak the same language as them!!!

During the Cold War, we had the Soviets ‘steal’ software code that wound up blowing up their gas compressors.
So compressors do blow up and as much as NATO would JUST LOVE to blow up some Russian compressor stations, Russia isn’t about to take the bait. If Europe wants Russian gas, they WILL have to behave in a way that convinces Russia that they’re not trying to sabotage their facilities.

A lot of the Ukrainian units employed, at least initially, were “territorial defense” units which are definitely not highly trained “elite” forces. At the cost of huge Ukrainian casualties they were used with the intent to have the Russian defenders use up much of their ammunition. And that goal appears to not have been achieved. Treating troops as cannon fodder is indefensible IMHO.
Its OK, there’s still 20 million more Klaus Schwab and Pedo Joe can throw into the fray.
