A lot of the Ukrainian units employed, at least initially, were “territorial defense” units which are definitely not highly trained “elite” forces. At the cost of huge Ukrainian casualties they were used with the intent to have the Russian defenders use up much of their ammunition. And that goal appears to not have been achieved. Treating troops as cannon fodder is indefensible IMHO.
I Heard Ukraine is Drafting Women now—soon boys over 13. These new troops will turn the tide. Who knows? It might work? What ever the outcome—The war will not last much longer—going to be a cold January in Europe. Mr. Z will be out and a peace talks start and drag on. I pray for peace. No winners here.
