In January 2021, Bed, Bath & Beyond sided with the liberal mob and dropped MyPillow products from their stores. Liberals celebrated:
Bed Bath & Beyond has now officially DROPPED MyPillow! Thank you to everyone who stepped up and help amplify our message and thank you to @BedBathBeyond for siding with democracy. — MeidasTouch.com (@MeidasTouch) January 19, 2021
In response, conservatives boycotted Bed, Bath & Beyond -- and bought their bedding from MyPillow.com using promo code USA1776 directly instead.
Now, this:
Bed, Bath & Beyond is closing 150 stores:
Bed Bath & Beyond on Wednesday announced swift and significant steps it is taking to try to revive its struggling business, including layoffs, store closures and a shake-up of the brands on its shelves. On a call with investors, the New Jersey-based retailer laid out details of its latest turnaround push. It said it has started closing about 150 of its “lower producing” namesake stores. It will also slash costs by shrinking head count by about 20% across its corporate and supply chain workforce.
Canceling MyPillow was a big mistake!
They forced conservatives to choose between a big box store and a man who fights for conservatives.
With MyPillow winning, will other retailers stop fighting conservatives?
Will we return America to the open economy it should be?

The slide began in 2013 or 2014. Since then, it’s just a matter of time. Their worst pretax net income year was 2019.

I was eating my breakfast when I read this.
Pardon me while I now go clean up projectile vomit from my floor...
BB&B had MUCH bigger problems than pillows:
they kept changing merchandising strategy from brand name to store brand and then back again to brand name, confusing customers ...
high prices compared to online even with 20% coupons ...
limited selection compared to online, carrying only fad-of-the-season colors, exactly the same as all other stores, usually boring faded pastels ...
Guilt’s not great either.
“However the sell-everything, big box store is is a retail model that can’t be sustained,”
Walmart and Target still doing well, though ...
I had a buddy who was assistant manager of the Hyatt in downtown Houston. The hotel is an atrium building.
I was chatting with him on the phone and I heard a very loud “BOOM”. It was someone hitting the floor after diving off the topmost guest floor. It was verry messy.
‘My Pillow didn’t have anything to do with it.’
true, but running with a wished for narrative is so much fun...
Meh, they’ve been on a serious decline, at least in my area (hyper-liberal) for years. They had a niche that has been filled much better by Amazon on the low end and higher end stores on the better stuff. Kind of a smaller, dirtier K-Mart for at least the last 5 or 6.

Bed Bath & Beyond is at risk of filing for bankruptcy. How did it get here?
The retailer has lost sales and market share all while experiencing mounting losses. And without a leader at the helm, it faces an inflection point.
My neighborhood BB&B closed down a few months ago.
Soon it's going to be occupied by a Home Goods store, which from the looks of their website, appears to be an even crappier version of BB&B.
HomeGoods is definitely dirtbag.
“””My pillow definitely was a contributing factor. I used to go to BBB just to look around. Usually bought something. After the my pillow cancellation I never returned. I cannot be the only person who stopped shopping there.
Certainly not the only factor but probably the nail in the coffin”””
Bed Bath and Beyond has been in financial trouble for several years.
I agree with you that BBB decision to ban My Pillow has hastened their demise.
Woke will not only make you broke it will make you choke or jump off a roof of a high rise
Actually he fights for Americans, period.
I was hoping to see Dick’s Sporting Goods to donthe same, yet they remain.
CFO not ceo.
Ditto
CFO of BBY jumped from 18th floor of building in NYC Friday night.....
