A senior FBI official in the bureau’s Washington field office has been fired after coming under congressional scrutiny for suspected political bias in handling the investigation of Hunter Biden’s computer laptop.
The Washington Times learned that Timothy Thibault, an assistant special agent in charge, was forced to leave his post according to two former FBI officials familiar with the situation.
Mr. Thibault was seen exiting the bureau’s elevator last Friday escorted by two or three “headquarters-looking types,” according to eyewitness accounts provided to one of the former officials.
Ah, of course!
This is the equivalent of a combat aircraft dropping chaff. The FBI is trying to distract from the massive criminal enterprise they began back in 2015 to get Trump, by any means necessary, Operation Crossfire Hurricane, which continues to this day. The FBI is guilty of massive interference in the election process along with their coconspirators in the MSM and Big Tech.
Faux made a special effort to indicate that an FBI agent being removed from their office as this guy was is “normal”. It happens all the time, nothing here to see!

I misunderstood. If the establishment did not like what he did would that not mean that he wanted to expose the laptop. Why would they punish him if he followed the party line?

He has 25 years of service so he must me at least in his late 50’s.

Once their report is provided, the reports are provided to the AG who has them reviewed and compared to the testimony of anyone from Crossfire Hurricane, any document covering this action. Any FBI agent who does not exactly match the previous released “facts” is arrested and charged with lying to the FBI! That’s how you clean house, use their own documents and evidence against them!
It’s all for show. Just another bloated government bureaucracy filled with people who are far, far more interested in keeping their job than they are in actually performing their job (in an ethical, efficient manner, that is).

Interesting that..I assume a reporter..would know that someone in the FBI was fired? but also that they were near by when it happened? They saw the fired agent as he was escorted down an elevator and out of the building.
