Rep. Val Demings (D) leads Sen. Marco Rubio (R) by 4 percentage points in Florida’s Senate race, according to a poll released Tuesday.
The poll, released by the University of North Florida’s Public Opinion Research Lab, shows Demings with the support of 48 percent of surveyed registered voters who said they would vote in the midterms.

This same poll showed DeSantis ahead by 7/8 points and Fried 4 points ahead of Crist. Inconsistent with any expectations, I would argue?

Even if this poll is accurate (and I think ALL polls are bullshit no matter what they say) this is a dead tie is it not?
UNF is in my town....every time the local news talks to them about politics it’s always pro lib anti conservative.

“Garbage Poll.”
That sounds right.
That said, it is hard for a conservative to find anything good to say about Rubio. He is no good.
Can't forget in one of the presidential debates Rubio favoring requiring 18 year old girls to register for the draft. No one that dumb should serve in public office.

Polls are often like this at this stage of the election cycle. Dukakis was way up on Geroge the Elder at this point to. A theoretical Democrat polls better than a real person, and for now the Dem is probably just a blank slate to a lot of voters, whereas Rubio’s warts are known. The Rubio folks will get the word out and the numbers will change.
