Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution (adopted July 9, 1868), which states:

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside”.

Do you think a person born here in the US are not under US jurisdiction.

Anyone born with more than ONE nationality is NOT NATURALLY an American, because they were also born something else.

The entire purpose of the clause was to exclude foreigners.
The children of foreigners are themselves foreigners, even if born here.

That one sentence would seem to invalidate every 'residency requirement' in every state that has them......................

No, they are not. They are not citizens with allegiance to this country. They may be subject to our laws, but they're not subject to the jurisdiction thereof. A phrase meant to confer allegiance to the state in which the parents would be citizens. The Fourteenth was not written to confer citizenship status on those born here of visiting foreigners or invading illegals.

Yawn. No one is claiming the Harris not a “citizen” of the USA. Citizens can hold elected positions, such as Senator..which she was. However, “Citizen” is different than “Natural Born” Citizen...which she is not. To be NBC, her parents would have to be “Citizens” of the USA, which they were not. NBC is required to occupy the offices of POTUS and VPOTUS....Heels is ineligible.

Her parents were not citizens at time of her birth. She is not a natural born citizen.

There are a number of these idiots around and I’ve come to just ignore them.

They think my daughter, born in England after I was ORDERED there by the United States Air Force, is not eligible. Of course, she’d have to renounce her British citizenship.

That’s the point- and the founders made that clear.

If they meant anyone born here was a citizen then they would have said “Anyone born here was a citizen”

But the “Under the jurisdictions” clause was added because it means to exclude foreigners because they are not “under US jurisdiction”

They are beholden to another country.

Kamala’s parents were not US citizens when she was born here. K is not a natural born citizen for Presidential and Vice Presidential purposes. She is not eligible to be VP. But since the Dems have corrupted the election process every way they can.... The Constitution does not count any more.
