“Thursday, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the suspension will take effect immediately, saying Warren thinks he’s “above the law” and has been “picking and choosing” what laws to enforce, citing the state’s 15-week abortion ban as the most recent example.
DeSantis said Warren signed letters saying he would not enforce laws prohibiting sex changes for minors.
“To take a position that you have veto powers over the laws of this state is untenable and warrants suspension,” he said.”
