I agree. It is not a recession, it is a DEPRESSION! One that will EASILY exceed that which started in 1929! Like the ‘Great Depression’, it will likely end with a world war, a war that will make WW2 look like a school yard fight!

Powell said inflation is transitory. Think about how wrong he was about that.
In his talk today he essentially said Americans don’t understand what inflation is because they can’t differentiate between the CPI figure and core inflation. He’s an arrogant asshole. His arrogance comes from his compensating for his ignorance and lack of competence. I fully expect Powell is actually low-IQ and his entire career advancement has been based on politics and destroying competent co-workers.
