Monday, during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine, the first high-ranking openly transgender official confirmed by the U.S. Senate, argued for health policy to support “trans youth” given what she deemed to be vulnerabilities to their mental health.
Part of the recommendation was for “gender-affirmation treatment” in states where state legislatures had blocked it.

Let a man or woman do anything they want to do to their bodies once they are of legal age of adulthood. This should be done only after much psychological counseling. I would suggest they first talk to one that has undergone these procedures and regretted it and also those that are happy with it. They can then make an informed decision. To do these procedures to a minor is just wrong. It is medical malpractice and should be banned.
