The Florida estate of the late conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh roughly 2.7-acre Palm Beach estate, with a roughly 24,000-square-foot main house, is set to hit the market with an asking price of $150 million to $175 million.
Limbaugh, who died in February 2021, has multiple structures on Palm Beach's North Ocean Boulevard, in an area and a state that has seen many migrate during the pandemic.
The estate includes about 250 feet of oceanfront property that leads straight on to the beach.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom Winner's widow, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, is in charge of selling the property.
The couple owns two homes that are connected to the main estate, which the radio host bought for about $3.9 million in 1998 and which has been part of the skyrocketing price for the entire area.
Real estate has exploded in the Palm Beach area since the beginning of the pandemic, with sales totaling tens and hundreds of millions of dollars for the likes of Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
The main house has seven bedrooms, a dozen bathrooms and a two-story library that can be fully accessed via an elevator.
The mansion also includes hundreds of feet of oceanfront property, as well as a pool and a putting green for golf.
Limbaugh, the radio icon and 'voice of American conservatism', died in February of 2021, aged 70,
He was diagnosed with Stage IV advanced lung cancer back in February 2020, hosted his last radio show on February 2 during which he revealed another host was on standby in case his health deteriorated.
'Well, my friends, that's it. Yet another excursion into broadcast excellence in the can. Enjoyed being with you today, always do. And look forward to the next time,' he said at the conclusion of the show.

“Miss the big guy an awful lot.”
Yep, every day.
Rush’s pre show prep was hitting Free Republic, it was obvious. He learned many things form us too, it was 2-way.
Ayn Rand use to have a nice custom designed house in Northridge CA. It is where Atlas Shrugged was mostly written. I use to wonder what happened it to. I found out it was torn down but that its former location was merely a few yards from a Jr. High School I went to. Not even a plaque remains today.
Rush changed the conversation and gave political courage and a voice and informed information to the silent Americans who had come to think they were alone in their ideas and political positions, after a few years of him you could start hearing conservative conversations and rebuttals at cocktail parties and the office water coolers and on the work sites.
Three hours a day, 5 days a week of building an army of millions of confident and talkative conservative voices who could see that they weren’t alone and isolated and in a tiny invisible minority, as the popular culture and media had convinced them for decades.
Issues? I agree on one thing, I don't understand the mindset of a terminally ill man with $175 million worried about "obscene" profit time outs when he always complained he never had enough time..
No one else had such huge numbers of listeners that would call up their RINO Congressman and light a fire underneath them if Rush called them out on his program.
I miss him so much. I miss him putting things into perspective and break through the media bias.
I'm with you on that. It was to be a plus of retirement!
Rush’s widow Kathryn has quietly brought the home, which has not been featured on popular sales websites, to the market.
So it says she is selling the property and says she bought the property?
Sold one house bought the other?
Didn’t his ex wife live on in one house?
I remember my late father in law -religiously listening to Rush every day. Crippled from a car accident in his 20’s, he became a renowned petroleum engineer. One of the kindest men I ever knew.
Woops my error.
Brought
Not
Bought!
What will the turtles do when they don’t have lights to come home to?
It’s not sold yet is it?
God I miss him. Brings tears to my eyes.
He was a trailblazer. Wish he had spoken out against election fraud. Too few dare.
Rush saved AM radio. His legacy is the many conservative talk shows now populating the airwaves and giving liberals headaches over all that information they can no longer censor. This idea that he owed it to society to do something with all his money is liberalism at its core and utterly evil. We don’t have to make excuses for our own existence and the idea that you do is what makes Leftistw so damn crazy.
Surely you jest.
You are a bubble brain.
You know, I was feeling bad for the ‘flaming’ you were getting after your initial comment. I thought I got what you were saying, but this comment? I’m thinking you didn’t get Rush at all and that deep down you’re sort of resentful of people that have money.
I miss Rush. That Clay and Buck show is horrible, Dennis Praeger is all I can listen to anymore
Me too. I often wonder what he would think or say about this ‘train wreck’ of a country now. I’ve never listened to his replacements. I don’t know why anyone thought that those 2 would fill Rush’s spot. I do know they are still using his theme song which grates me. Nah...I don’t even turn the radio on during that time slot anymore.
