Idaho Democrats Decry GOP Rule Barring Cross-Over Voting — Democrats Vow to “Become a RINO”

After an Idaho Republican primary election subverted by Democrat cross-over voting, a new rule proposed by the GOP sets to limit the subversive practice, kicking liberal voters to the curb.

Democrats on social media claim Republicans are “terrified” of fair and free elections.

This comes just after a contentious primary election filled with Democrats switching to Republican and voting for the ‘least conservative’ candidates.

It has been alleged that close to 20,000 Democrats made the switch.

Democrats — as well as the Republicans they help elect — remain the only camp against the measure, which will now make its way through the legal system.

A conservative should run as a democrat and ask republicans to do cross over and vote for them.

We can do the same.

And will.

Crossover is what’s keeping McConnell, Collins and Murkowski around.

We had some good candidates in the primary and the Democrats switching subverted the primary. That must stop. Now we have another batch of RINOs on the November ballot.

Cheaters said what!? Can't make this kind of thing up. The felons who steal, cheat, lie, and even murder to get their way and illegitimately win elections say republicans are terrified of fair and free election. Wow. Gotta appreciate their gall though. They have dump trucks full of it.

This has been an obvious - and easily corrected - problem for the GOP for decades.

We need to pay for our own primaries.

Our money - our rules.

Government money - government rules.

In addition, we need to trademark the words Republican Party and GOP.

Here in Washington state, any eligible candidate - for a primary or general election - can ID his ballot name with "Prefers Republican" or "Prefers GOP."

In some state wide elections, there can be a dozen candidates with the Republican or GOP label.

The GOP needs to have its own primaries or nominating conventions, and the general election must have just one candidate who identifies as Republican or GOP.

Here's a tip -- did you know you can get the actual numbers from the secretary of state?

Are you sure that these aren't people leaving the Democratic Party in disgust, as has been happening lately in all states?

NY has one good thing in their election laws. They have closed primaries. You can switch party registration whenever you want, but you can vote in the new party’s primary until after you have voted in a general election. It makes interfering in other parties’ primaries difficult.

Often in our elections in California, there are only two
Democrats on the ballot when it come to election day.

It isn’t that they simply want to help us choose who gets to
run for the party, they want to get it so no Republican can
appear on the ballot.

Along with open primaries comes to idea that only the two
getting the top votes get to appear on the election day
ballot.

If it’s two Democrats, they love it!

We haven’t had two Republicans on the ballot on an
election day yet.

Say no to crossover voting. It dilutes our candidates
votes, so that they get fewer than the top two democrats
do.

And we (Republicans) already have.
