The Ukrainian army systematically is demolishing Russian ammunition supplies. The strategy could have big implications as Russia’s wider war in Ukraine grinds into its fourth month.
Firing new, American-supplied GPS-guided rockets—plus a few old, ex-Soviet ballistic missiles—the army in just the last two weeks has targeted no fewer than a dozen Russian ammo dumps.

Putin rigged his election just the same as Biden did.
RUSSIAN SCUM!
KILL ‘EM ALL!
The Russian/Ukraine war has turned into a logistics battle.
First to run out of:
- ammmunition
- weapons (tanks, artillery, planes, etc)
- men (food, water, shelter)
looses.
Both Russia and Ukraine have long supply lines. Russia’s supply lines are being attacked regularly but are being resupplied. Ukraine’s supply lines are longer (coming from NATO) but are under only limited attack from Russia.
The cost of the ammo in the ammo dump, is the lives of those it would otherwise have killed.
These are not $1M cruise missiles, they are GPS guided artillery shells, some rocket boosted. They are expensive, at $100K each, but not $1M. If a few of them put a couple of artillery batteries out of action for a few days, that section of the Russian invasion is stalled, fewer Ukrainian soldiers and civilians will be killed, and Russian logistical complications intensify. When the alternative is death, price isn’t the main factor. The key question is how best to use the scarce, expensive rounds. If Ukraine does so wisely, it’s Allies will give them more. If they waste them on blowing up trucks and tanks, they’ll be cut off.
For the West, there’s the obligation to support people fighting for their freedom. If we don’t, all our words mean nothing.
In addition, there’s an opportunity to remove Russia’s conventional forces as a threat to Europe through Ukrainian blood and our treasure. They’ve already been exposed as overrated after the failure to capture Kiev. Now they could end up largely combat ineffective due to losses of men, equipment and morale. The economic isolation and brain drain this war created will cripple their ability to rebuild their military for some time. Unless Bernie Sanders becomes President 😂
IIRC Nixon finally mined the harbors and sea lanes and thus put a serious crimp into their nautical resupply.
Are the ammo dumps in Ukraine or Russia?

both and always meters from a R R line.
Actually its more bout logistics - shells just happen to be the target. Russian logistics was last upgraded when they switched from horse-drawn wagons to trucks. They do not use forklifts or pallets and pack everything in wooden boxes. Everything is loaded and unloaded by hand.
During the loading/unloading process, empty boxes, broken boards, and other garbage is strewn around the entire area.
Ruzzian logistics sucks big time.
Russia has no “precise” missiles like it has no “precise” artillery shells.
If one of either hit its target, (assuming the missile is not in the 60% that fail on launch), it is because they fired enough missiles to blanket the general area.
Russian artillery shells were made in bulk during the Soviet area and cost nothing to use -mostly for the 122mm tubes.
The whole Nazi business originated from Pootie’s 2nd in command as a propaganda talking point.
You mean American weapons with borrowed money and increase in national debt? World police on credit card?
Two of the four HIMARS missile systems have already been destroyed
—
You of course know that each system consists of 4 launchers and a command center? You also need to provide a serious confirmation of that claimed destruction.
You have more common sense, more awareness of how bankrupt we are now with national debt at 135% of GDP.
But never forget warnings from president IKE about the military industrial complex.
Russian oil goes primarily to China and India.
India refines the $70 bbl crude into gasoline and other products and sells it to the US at market prices, garnering a huge profit.
China puts most of the Russian oil into their strategic reserve.
Neocons like foreign wars on borrowed money.
Never mind if national debt is 135% of GDP and growing faster than ever.
Viet cong we’re getting all the weapons they needed from China using land routes.
Point of fact: Russian artillery uses the dedicated Orlon 10 UAV (no western equivalent) which sends images and coordinates directly to the LR 152mm 2S19 Mstas touch screen panels - correction occurs between 46 sec and 1.5 minutes
