Ukraine’s American-Made Rockets Are Blowing Up Russia’s Ammo Dumps
Forbes ^ | 06-JUL-2022 | David Axe

Posted on 07/06/2022 8:23:29 AM PDT by SpeedyInTexas

The Ukrainian army systematically is demolishing Russian ammunition supplies. The strategy could have big implications as Russia’s wider war in Ukraine grinds into its fourth month.

Firing new, American-supplied GPS-guided rockets—plus a few old, ex-Soviet ballistic missiles—the army in just the last two weeks has targeted no fewer than a dozen Russian ammo dumps.

Depends on what and how much of the what is being destroyed per shot. Even dumb artillery shells, in the quantities Russian has been firing, are collectively cheap. And much less costly to Ukraine for them to blow up in Russian dump than in their cities. And at least some of what Russia has been firing are somewhat precise missiles. Likely cheaper than our stuff, but how many rounds can you get with one hit. How many secondary explosions can that one hit generate to multiply your results. And if Russia has to move their ammo dumps further back to escape the greater range of our missiles its that much more stress on their weakness, logistics. Very good strategy from Ukrainian viewpoint. Especially when someone else is paying for the shots.

There are Nazis in Ukraine. Why all the support for Nazis?

In a war between "Nazi's" and Communists, I pick neither.

AFAIC, let them all kill each other.

Neither Putin or Zelensky is a good guy.

“Biden/Obama are walking us straight into WWIII. You think Russia is going to stand by and just shrug off these proxy attacks?”

The Russians will be careful to avoid & minimize the deaths of NATO country citizens.

However, UK offshore windmills might develop a bad habit of getting in the flight path of Russian missiles.

As for the US, the Russians will wait until just before US election time. The US and its people will not be attacked directly by Russia.

The goal will be to cause Biden to lose control of Congress. It may be possible to make the Senate have over 66 Republicans, permitting Biden to be impeached and convicted.

Why the heck are we sending our equipment for somebody else’s war?

Good question...

“much more stress on their weakness, logistics.”

Everyday, about 135 million Russian chow down, often with food brought from faraway places such as the country of Georgia.

There are more “Nazis” in Russia. Why all the support for invading Nazis?

Heck, the largest gang in the USA are various versions of the Arian Nation.

It’s irrelevant to the fact that Russia invaded the Ukraine to take control of oil fields and stop a new competitor.

“ Neither Putin or Zelensky is a good guy.”

I agree, but Biden and surprisingly many here are rooting for the Ukes. I don’t want the US supplying weapons to either side.

Russians have tents.

Some may have ammo in them, but many others won’t.

Xi would say waste US munitions on Russian tents rather than on Chinese soldiers reclaiming Taiwan.

There are neonazis in Wagner - taking orders from their man in the Kremlin, and getting medals from Putin.

The leader of one of the separatist governments is clearly a fascist. That regime unilaterally resurrected a death penalty that both Ukraine and even Russia have not implemented.

The Chechen forces have declared their actions to be a Islamic Jihad rather than under Russian instruction and regard Kremlin support for them as simply carte blanche to be brutally islamofascist in eastern Europe.

There are Nazis and fascists on both sides of this, always have been, and if you ever thought otherwise then I’ve got three London Bridges to sell.

And the biggest risk to American AND European safety, by far, isn’t coming from the Ukrainian Azov Nazis and fascists.

It’s the Rashist regime in Russia ee need to worry about. The nutjobs waving nuke threats around, trafficking over 100,000 kids (by their own admission!), pinning their victory hopes on an orchestrated famine in the Horn of Africa (announced in st Petersburg to a global audience!) and that’s ALREADY buddied up with the Taleban, the Wagner Nazis, the DPR fascists, China...

I thought I’d get tgat in before the “Yeah but no but yeah but what about the biolabs and the 4000 Azov guys and what happened in 2014-15, that’s far worse than anything Russia has been doing in the last 6 months?”

Another Gameboy general that is calling the plays like it’s Monday night football

Look in the mirror yourself, Francis. You lecture, blather and ridicule with your pretentious drivel without an ounce of warfare experience or ever being to Ukraine. You’ve never shot at the enemy or been on the front lines giving the Russians the middle finger or a bullet.

You’ve never planned/executed a battle, made tactical decisions under fire in a war, commanded troops or won a battle.

I doubt you have the skill or courage to break a nail with a squirt gun charging a nest of field mice in your back yard.

Take your bloviating BS and hot air to a kindergarten playground. Maybe you can impress a bunch of 6 year olds with your cocky arrogance. But I’m certain a 6 year old has a higher level of mental acuity than you.

Have a nice day...

Why the heck are we sending our equipment for somebody else’s war?

Because the MIC needs to make more profits.

I wish I was joking, but after what we saw in Afghanistan there's no other explanation.

“Why support Russians?”

What makes you think I support Russians? I have never declared support for either side. I have no dog in this fight, which is why I don’t want the US supporting one side over the other with weapons. Contrary to much of what I read on FR, I do not support the Russia/Ukraine war. Period. Nor do I approve of US neocons breathlessly trying to escalate the situation. It isn’t our business.

Pooties little war has nothing to do with Nazis or striking a blow against the New Word Order. It’s a land grab. NATO rumors forced his hand to act before it became impossible.

When he gets the north shore of the Black Sea to Odessa then Ukraine will become magically denazified.
