Canadian Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos said Canadians may soon be required to get a booster shot every nine months for the foreseeable future to protect against new variants of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Speaking to reporters, Duclos said Canadians who got a shot last summer are no longer "up to date," and should now roll up their sleeves for another booster.
“The virus evolves and Omicron made us aware we will never be fully vaccinated against COVID-19,” Duclos continued, adding that as our immunity evolves, “we have to maintain our vaccinations up to date.”

I use to make good natured fun of Canada but now I’m starting to worry about their sanity.

Every September I drag my azz for the yearly shot. The freaking virus keeps mutating and requires a new vaccine every year.
But are you required to get a flu vaccine to travel?

I’ve had one, maybe two flu shots in my life.
I’ve had the flue perhaps once in the last 30 years.
My next door neighbor stood and talked to me face to
face for 30-45 minutes a few weeks back. He never does
that. About a week later he told me had had come down
positive, and how he had been feeling bad over the
period when he talked to me.
I wasn’t very happy about it. Two weeks went by and I
didn’t come down with it.
I’m rather fortunate with most general ailments.
That's your personal decision.
Should people who choose not to be canceled?
Every September required deadline before I lose my rights I obey orders and drag my azz for the yearly shot whenever they tell me I'm required to get another.
