Judicial opinions written with public opinion in mind is like laws drawn up and passed immediately after a tragedy are usually bad. Think back to the antiterrorism laws passed after 9/11.
Now think of Dred Scott, Plessy v Ferguson and Roe v Wade. ALL written by a Supreme Court thinking more of public opinion than The Constitution and subsequently overturned.
I really believe Obamacare will suffer the same fate someday.

I might buy the blackmail theory but not the emotional stress theory from the SOTU. If Ebola said that about my court when it wasn’t true, I’d make it my mission in life that his policies never won another fight if I had anything to say about it. Show him what it was like when it really was true (plus give him what he deserved).

Sadly, no Supreme Court Justice has ever been removed. The closest thing I can think of is William Matthew Merrick who had his court dissolved by Congress to get rid of him. He was a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Circuit Court of the District of Columbia.

WRONG! The Dobbs majority opinion is wrong for the same fundamental reason that Roe was wrong. Abortion is an egregious violation of the U.S. Constitution for the simple reason that human life begins at conception, and therefore every such life should be guaranteed exactly the same Constitutional protection that Chief Justice John Roberts enjoys.

Also Obergfell. What a case of judicial overreach when even the state of California had voted to ban same sex “marriage” in 2008. Zero and Brandon had even campaigned they were also against homosexual marriage at that time.
Suddenly, by 2015, zero was all on board and a 5-4 USSC pulled the right to homosexual “marriage” out of their orifices, with Kennedy writing, “Their (homosexuals) hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions.” What? That’s why you are voting for this? It’s a popularity contest?
