You forgot Bush in ‘92—my first election of going third party or writing in, a route I followed for three at least other elections, which happen to be precisely the ones that you name. I think I voted for Dole, but I wouldn’t swear to it.

There wasn’t any choice at all, both the 2008 and 2012 elections were rigged from the start with willing intentional Designated Losers being put up by the GOP.

McCain was chosen specifically because of his own eligibility issues to take on the Kenyan from Indonesia.
