SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Gov. Gavin Newsom is running for reelection in California, but his latest television ad is airing in Florida.
The 30-second spot scheduled to air on Fox News starting Monday takes shots at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his policies, while drawing a contrast with California.
“Freedom, it’s under attack in your state. Republican leaders, they’re banning books, making it harder to vote, restricting speech in classrooms, even criminalizing women and doctors,” Newsom says while images of DeSantis and former President Donald Trump flash on screen.
“I urge all of you living in Florida to join the fight. Or join us in California, where we still believe in freedom — freedom of speech, freedom to choose, freedom from hate and the freedom to love,” Newsom says.
Newsom has said he has no interest in running for president?

California is the place for you, you can sleep in a tent on the streets...
Just met a cop from CA. He was commenting on the gas prices, I told him before Biden got in it was 2.25. He said really? His house 4 bedroom 4 bath in CA was 1.6 million. Got his here for $397. He loves it...
Aside from the multiple comments encouraging the degenerate libs to move out of FL to CA, I am really torn as to whether DeSantis should even lower himself to such chicanery and political grandstanding from Gruesome.
Part of me thinks DeSantis should somehow grease the skids for those that are deluded enough to believe Gruesome. This will only help FL become more red. The other part of me thinks he should have a well written and crafted “jabs” buried in a speeches about the subjects that Gruesome brought up WITHOUT lowering himself to mention the name of Gruesome.
Just my overpriced two cents worth.
I am surprised they didn;t get Hollywood to make a film of a fake family moving out of fake Florida and moving to fake Cali...that is...one without poop in the streets!
Gavin Nobrain’s offer is like someone wanting you to give up your indoor toilet to use an outhouse.
DeSantis should offer to help people leave for CA
It would take some CGI…. But totally worth it
I was in FL 6 months ago.
It was very nice and much nicer than LA, SF, Portland or Seattle.
Snow globe world, where Santa stays on the roof and won’t go down the chimney, and every time there’s a earth quake, it snows. There’s a tiny air bubble on the top of the world, but nobody needs to breath.
Florida should be happy to get rid of anyone, who is stupid enough to believe this.
Governor DeSantis should offer a free one way bus trip from Florida to Californicator land for anyone missing California. If Amtrac or an airline can match or beat the bus ride, let them take them to California.
Also, give them a basket of California fruits/nuts to munch on while on their one way trip to Cali land.
Then, offer them $100 per month to stay in California until after the next presidential election. They have to be in Cali to get the $100 per month and use a Cali Photo ID to get the $100. The $100 could be in the form of a Target gift card or any woke grocery or fast food.
Makes one wonder what alternate reality these people live in!
Democrat Liebral Elites do live in an alternative reality often paid for by our taxes.
Gruesome Newsom, Pelosi’s pretty boy and very stupid nephew!
DeSantis should air a reply ad that plays in Florida. Show the homeless camps, the needles and poop on the ground, the gas prices, the crime. Tag line: This is what happens to beautiful places when democrats are elected.
“I hope he runs for president. newsom has been in the CA leftist bubble way too long.”

Come watch the Bloods and Crips go at it while the police go out for coffee and donuts. Watch a smash&grab at the local Walgreens, buy and use drugs in the open air, smell the fresh-laid organic fertilizer, and other quaint, local attractions.
Just say “No” to Californication of Florida.
Since CA doesn’t require ids to vote, FL republicans should take a weekend trip to CA during the 3 month voting window and vote a few times... to experience voting democrat-style
