Among them even what area of the country long venerated the military, held it to be an honorable profession - even among the wealthy - and was most patriotic? That would be the South.

The US military is now like those woke corporations which went out of its way to piss off its customers and is now shocked to see its sales and its stock price plummeting. You have to really try and work at it to be that stupid.

Maybe they should concentrate on recruiting trans, gays, lesbians, and other assorted mentally ill people. Heaven knows the country is full of mentally ill people now.
