Court opinions and “votes” aren’t like votes on a piece of legislation.
Votes can and sometimes do change during the opinion circulation phase.

Who can blame the justices for wanting to leave town immediately after the ruling is released? Makes sense it would be last.
I’ve seen videos with maybe a few dozen people outside of the court, and a lot of close ups, especially of angry people glaring at each other. If this is a big demonstration, it’s a bust.
Agreed. Which is why it is unlikely that the leak of the initial Alito draft opinion was perpetrated from someone on the Left who was anxious that the Court preserve Roe. Rather, the purpose of the leak, which established that there was from the beginning five votes to overturn Roe, was to lock in that outcome.
Given C.J. Roberts' track record with the Affordable Care Act case, the leak was a strategic move aimed at forestalling Roberts from being able to pick off either Kavanaugh or Barrett.
I agree, they will facto in the lack of effective policing and law in order in America today and protect themselves.

without reading this, I see it as a remedy case. Miranda violation? (my shorthand), remedy is exclusion of evidence, not (1983) money damages.
I think they just partly reversed Miranda!
