New York(CNN Business)US drivers got a slight — very slight — break on prices this weekend as the AAA average for a gallon of unleaded gas fell below the $5 mark.
The average price Sunday was $4.98 a gallon, down from $4.99 in Saturday's reading. The average gas price had been $5 or above for the previous seven days, the first time on record prices crossed that mark. It hit a high of $5.02 a gallon on Tuesday and has declined by a fraction of a penny each day since then.

Exactly. The SPR is for emergencies and this is anything but. This is Biden’s climate change fascism driven supply disruption.
What happens when the SPR is depleted is the United States will be weakened, incapable of responding to a real catastrophic event.
Without reading thr CNN propaganda on this subject, I will bet they made no mention of the risks associated with draining the SPR.
O to go back to The Golden Age, when gas was only $3.99 a gallon!

Went up to $5.70 this week, so someone is cooking the books to make it sound good.
I get a discount from my local grocery store for being a valued customer. It adds up every time I shop. Last time I shopped I went to their gas station. I got 70 cents off per gallon to fill up.
It still cost me $72.00 to fill up. Even Biden going to Saudi Arabia to kiss butt isn’t going to help. Its all intentional.

I also read somewhere that the Fed rate hike was expected to cause a temporary dip in oil prices.

In October 2020 before the BIG ELECTION STEAL the pump price for gas in my area was $1.69
So now gas here is 300% of the 2020 price.
Is it a sin to wish that every real Biden voter is driven into bankruptcy by Biden’s skyrocketing gas prices and high inflation rates?
