A week after a pastor at Steadfast Baptist Church called for all homosexuals to be executed, members of the LGBTQ community and their allies showed up at Monday’s Watauga City Council meeting asking for support from city officials to get the church to move out of the city. Around 15 people, both LGBTQ supporters and members of Steadfast Baptist, signed up to speak during the meeting. Hillary Ward of Pantego said a church that spreads hate has no place in the community. “The attacks against the LGBTQ community won’t go unanswered,” she said. Another speaker asked City Council to talk to the owner of the shopping center (Cider Property Inc. of Dallas, according to the Tarrant County tax records) where Steadfast Baptist is leasing space to ask them to leave Watauga.

And now the sodomites are calling for members of the church to be shot (in addition to this church being kicked out of town).

What they are saying is wrong.
But it is my understanding that this preached in many mosques in North America.
I don’t agree with the Pastor. But he has the right to say it and the church should be protected. Still, the pastor does sound a little unhinged.
Or better yet, repent and turn your life over to Jesus.

This is why we can’t have nice things.
It is hate the sin but love the sinner. This is a decidedly un-Christian aim and should not be talked about in a Christian church ever. God loves all people, but hates our sins.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...”
Hey, what's good for the gander is good for the goose.
When it comes to homosexuality it tends to be hate the sin, hate the sinner more.
Abortion clinics can never be kicked out of such places and they actually kill.
First Amendment.
If they have a lease....strip mall is powerless. But burning churches didn’t bother the KKK and wont bother the prideful ones today either. Thus proving the pastor’s point.
Execution is a bit much. Can we just restore Devil’s Island?
Me thinks that the Pastor is right, in this matter.
What part of “Abomination,” do you not understand?
An “obamanation” is at least as evil as an “abomination”.
Leviticus uses the word 'abomination' quite often. It also calls for putting adulterers to death. When this pastor advocates taking people who divorce and remarry, lining them up against a wall, and shooting them in the back of the head as well then I'll believe that his motivation is Biblical and not something else.
The pastor is not wrong. The Jewish law of the Old Covenant prescribed death for such moral crimes. The death prescribed would likely be stoning, which would be much more prolonged and painful than a bullet to the head. So the pastor was being compassionate.
Stop using the obfuscating tactics of the left. Just because someone does NOT make a major crusade out of other sins on par with a particular sin in question doesn’t mean he endorses that other sin. I’m quite sure the pastor detests fornication, divorce and remarriage, and all other sexual sins outside of marriage.
