Republicans are adept at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Show me the Senate bill that Cornyn said he’s supporting. It doesn’t exist.

Last I heard, a ‘deal’ was struck, but no bill was actually written. I assume this means that the republicans involved said something like, “Yes I’ll vote for encouraging states to pass red-flag laws, examine the juvenile records for young gun buyers and send money to schools to increase security”.

But the bill has yet to be written and perhaps some of the 10 will not like what they see. I wonder whose staffer is going to write the bill?

There’s no bill with 60 votes.

There are always 10 Republicans standing by to pass anything Biden wants.

The Lawmakers love them some Joe Biden.

There is no question or doubt.

We all need to get together and send a few 55 gallon drums of KY jelly to the treasonous GOPer Goobers. They’re going to need it.

Yeah the jackasses on the right struck a deal with the Jackasses on the left. Schumer agreed to call his hit men off the justices if the Goobers pull down their pants, bend over and holler “UNCLE!” I think I’m done voting for this year.

They have more than 10 Republican votes.

Mitch McConnell assigned Cornyn to negotiate a deal with the Dems, and McConnell not even one of the 10 on the list.

They’ll get many more - Collins, McConnell, and a partridge in a pear tree. The LA dudes will sign up, and the beat goes on.

It’ll go through reconciliation and the Rats will add whatever they want to it.

They have 60 votes (10 R) for the bill, so no reconciliation which would make it a nonstarter with Manchin. More on the bill https://www.theepochtimes.com/group-of-senators-including-10-republicans-announce-breakthrough-on-gun-control-deal_4528263.html

From my link:

Notably, the framework bill includes a so-called red flag provision, allowing for “resources to states and tribes to create and administer laws that help ensure deadly weapons are kept out of the hands of individuals whom a court has determined to be a significant danger to themselves or others,” according to a news release on Sunday. Currently, 19 states and Washington, D.C., have red flag laws on the books, which have been described as unconstitutional because they violate the Constitution’s Due Process Clause and give too much power to judges.

There was no mention of more controversial provisions that have been proposed by some Democrats, including unilateral bans on semiautomatic rifles or bans on magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

We'll see about that when we see the actual bill.

Tell me again why I waste time and effort on voting for these miserable country club, limousine liberal back stabbing bastards called Republicans. Other than local elections come November I’m done wasting my time for these sellout pricks.
