Hutchinson: Many in Republican Party ‘Looking for an Off-Ramp’ from Trump’s Control
Breitbart ^ | 06/12/2022 | Pam Key

Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that many in the Republican Party were “looking for an off-ramp” from former President Donald Trump’s control.

Hutchinson said, “I hope that the future of the Republican Party is different than former President Trump’s leadership. I hope we move in a different direction. I believe that what happened on January 6 is a lot at his feet. It was wrong for our country, and for him to continue to push that theory, I agree, is the wrong direction for the Republican Party.”

No, we're looking for an off ramp from Democrat and RINO control.
We want a Republican party that's run by genuine Republicans.

It’s way past time for folks like yourself Governor Hutchinson to take the off ramp and stop appearing on mainstream media programs.

You don’t represent Constitution and Freedom loving Americans you represent Corporatists and Globalists.

Let’s do an experiment. Pick your favorite guy and schedule a rally one month in advance. Book major music entertainment and advertise it as a free event even with free alcohol. Schedule it one month in advance and advertise it heavily.

Meanwhile, a announce a Trump rally one week in advance. Announce that it will cost a hundred bucks, and there is no free booze and no scheduled rock bands. Also schedule it in a place that 100% of the people have to travel to it…such as smack dab in the middle of the black rock desert in Nevada where there is zero infrastructure of any kind.

Now which rally do you think will have the most people? Which rally will have the best live music? Which rally will have the best food? Which rally will have the most energy?

So the GOP’s strategy for winning is going to be vilifying the 75 million plus Trump supporters? I suspect the majority of Trump supporters are the conservative voters that never miss voting in an election. So, how does the GOP plan to win while insulting that voting block? Or, as I suspect, does the GOP prefer losing and staying in the minority where they do not have to uphold their campaign promises?

The best Trump replacement would be someone as audacious and pragmatic and patriotic as he is. The country club Republicans don’t do audacious. And they are not that patriotic either. Sorry Asa. The leader after Trump won’t be someone who puts guys like you at ease.

I hope we move in a different direction.

And what is that? The opposite of MAGA?

Different is not necessarily better. Most of the wannabe Pubbies are still using the same platforms they have used for decades. Those platforms sound good, but few pols ever follow thru on implementing them. The GOP has been 'just more of the same' for decades. And they seem to prefer losing over winning, drawing defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Exactly. We do not want any assistant Democrats in the Republican party.
