BTW the VA, our experience has aversion to returning phone calls, so be prepared to do a lot of calling. You’ll be reciting their phone number in your sleep, and actually enjoy that fake music, such as it is while on hold.
In addition to the three Factors mentioned, an important 4th is effective use of the God given nutrients like Vitamins C, D3, E, and probiotic beverages. I also wonder how and where JR got pressure sores, and his age.
One very valuable article I saw on a Turkish Covid study ending a year ago gives important attention to Vitamins C and D3. The study was actually designed to study the Zelenko 3 part protocol, plus Vitamin D, and also split the group of almost 250 into half that got a modest amount of Vitamin C daily, but gave the other half a much higher dose of IV Vitamin C. The goal was to see if IV C reduced days spent in hospital. It did, significantly. After the study ended (with only one death), they looked at the blood tests given before the study began. They were amazed to discover NOT A SINGLE PATIENT HAD OPTIMAL Vitamin D LEVELS. Kaiser Permanente lists OPTIMUM D as 50 to 80 ng/mL of Vitamin D. The Turkish measure of OPTIMUM was 30 or more ng/mL of D. About half were insufficient and the rest were deficient. [This figure was obtained after dividing their Optimum figure of 70 nmols/L by 2.5 to get the US measure of 30 ng/mL. Europe and countries like Turkey use the measure nanomols not nanograms.]
When reading the study, remember their numbers are 2.5 times the US numbers. Also the fascinating information suggesting that almost NO ONE with an OPTIMUM Vitamin D measure came to the hospital and took part in the study is found near the end of the report. A lot of people included in this study had diabetes, cancer, and heart conditions. The one person who died of Covid, had extremely low 3 ng/mL of Vitamin D.

I agree, abx in hospital doses lead to liquid stool which can be a very big problem since the ulcers are in that area. Lord we pray for adequate staff coverage, for a family member to be in room and to assist in assuring pt gets turned frequently. For a non hostile environment with the staff. For the healing of Jesus upon Jim, In Jesus Name, Amen.
