Rattner: Increasing Immigration Won’t Make ‘Much of a Material Difference’ on Inflation in Near or Medium-Term
Breitbart ^ | 06/04/2022 | Ian hatchett

Posted on 06/04/2022 12:46:31 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

During an interview aired on Friday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Wall Street Week,” Steve Rattner, who served as counselor to the Treasury Secretary in the Obama administration, stated that a lack of workers due to stricter immigration policies is not driving the problems with inflation and that changing immigration policy wouldn’t make “that much of a material difference” in the immediate or medium terms

After playing a clip of BlackRock CEO Larry Fink blaming economic problems on policy, host David Westin asked, “Steve, what he’s talking about there in terms of policy-generated are things like some of our trade policies, some of our policies on immigration — where we’re not getting as many workers — indeed, energy policy. He’s saying that’s bigger than just a single fiscal stimulus package. And so, that’s not something the Fed can deal with. Are we concerned they don’t have the tools they need to get the job done?”

“host David Westin asked, “Steve, what he’s talking about there in terms of policy-generated are things like some of our trade policies, some of our policies on immigration — where we’re not getting as many workers — indeed, energy policy.”

LOL. While he does end with a brief pointer to energy policy the questioner clearly emphasizes ‘too strict immigration’ as an example of a policy to blame for immigration. Incredible.

Only a progressive central planner could think this way - let’s attempt to limit inflation by suppressing wages of the working class by importing more low-skilled foreign labor.

Remember, keep voting Democrat!

Just to throw it out for discussion:

If the stats are correct, there are 11 million unfilled jobs in the United States.

If the stats are correct, there are 6 million unemployed in the United States.

So how does one counter the Uniparty argument that immigration is needed to sustain and grow the US economy going forward?

From the US Government Census: 21.3% of the US Population participates in Government Assistance Programs each month. That does not match up with only 6 million unemployed in my humble opinion.

Increased # of people = increase in demand = increase in prices = inflation

Short term, medium term... who cares.

The long-term game is imported votes via eased citizenship for the border-hoppers, and birthright citizenship for their children. The plan is to get them voting for THE PARTY, early and often.

Makes American citizens compete for scarce resources with illegals.
Example: Illegals coming across the border get free baby formula. (While some Americans are purchasing it in Mexico)

AND Just where all these “refugees” going to live? How much is the taxpayer giving these evil companies like Blackrock to house these illegal aliens? How much food are they getting? Medical care? How much gas are they buying. There’s always resources to care for illegal aliens. It’s big business.

Is Rattner's observation really stupid? Maybe not, but the outcome is really a stupid one.

The admission of immigrants who cannot or will not be transformed through successfully entering, then re-educated exiting proficient in the American English language, morality, and law, is to dilute the system with a segment of humanity oppositionally defiant to the culture they are expected to assimilate and live by.

They have already mostly undone the purposes for which our Constitution was originally meant to perpetuate, to maintain and improve the kind of culture it was meant to preserve. Our second president, John Adams, crystallized this in the bold assertion that:

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
The morality would be, across our Founders as well as our median population in 1789 that passed on the Constitution, in agreement the Judaeo-Christian principles originating in the Holy Bible and English common law, no other.

The definition of "heathen" is an individual of a people that do not acknowledge the God of the Bible nor His Word as the supreme authority of their religion and its practice.

Contrary to what some ignoramuses presume, those who practice Mohammedanism (misnamed "Islam"), whose "Allah" is not the God of Abraham, or of the Tanach given by God to Moses, the ancient prophets, and the writers of the New Covenant now in effect. Therefore, they are heathen, whose principles when put into full practice are completely contrary to the Constitution of the United States.

Similarly, the atheists whose bearings are taken from the philosophy of anarchy; or on the other hand of materialistic Marxist socialism (both are being spread throughout our simple-minded legislators, state and federal), are dead set against the original intent of our nation that was topped ny leaders who mainly professed a popeless kingless population represented by those motivated by the (Christian) religion that influenced their governmental decisions.

Bringing in the massive amount of thus unprincipled immigrants, particularly heathenish ones, can topple both the influence of our foundational culture on assimilation, as well as the kind and quality of merchandise to be marketed to them.

Perhaps this has already happened, but we can still mitigate the rate of descent into an economic hell.

Biden's very personal preferences and executive orders on immigration has greatly multiplied these factors, as well as Biden himself denying his causative influence on our current very tangible demise in honor and stature among nations.

And that is immediate and ongoing until he and his policies and his executors and his advisors are removed from influence.

We need to sequester every unlawful immigrant invader and put him/her to supervised menial labor to earn back the cost of his/her food, housing, and daily transportation, as well as setting an amount to pay for the passage back to his/her origin with dependents, ASAP without any extension. We didn't we do this to the Jews trying to escape the Hitler/Mussolini/Stalin domination of Europe. We just blocked them from crossing our borders, thus avoiding that nuisance, right?

The policy of immediately closing our borders to such a massive infiltration can and will avoid other issues that otherwise would be immediately felt. We should do this as an effective solution, cnntrary to Rattner's misleading opinion.

The RATT boy sure isn’t very bright, is he? More people driving up the demand for gas will drive the prices up. It’s not rocket science but it’s still over the RATT’s head. The boy is a fool.
