Texas school shooter Salvador Ramos tried to buy gun for 8 months
New York post ^ | Lee Brown

Deranged Texas killer Salvador Ramos had been trying to buy a gun for at least eight months — and openly chatted about his reputation as a likely school shooter in social media messages posted in the months before Tuesday’s attack, officials announced Friday.

“Ramos asked his sister to help him buy a gun” as far back as Sept. 21, Texas Department of Public Safety director Col. Steven McCraw announced Friday as he detailed the killer’s online activity.

Then Ramos — who legally bought the rifle he used after turning 18 last week — had numerous group chats on Instagram in which they openly “discussed Ramos being a school shooter,” McCraw announced.

That started on Feb. 28 — nearly three months before he slaughtered 19 kids and two teachers Tuesday at Robb Elementary in the second-deadliest school shooting in US history.

The next day, March 1, a member of an Instagram chat he had with four others “discussed him buying a gun,” the police official revealed.

Since February 28 he had discussed shooting others on Instagram in group chats.

The same Instagram that will ban you if you say I believe in God.

Was it Christopher Wray or Merrick Garland who gave the “go ahead” for him to make that purchase? Did they provide funding and training as well?

Exactly. I believe Facebook change the rules so you couldn’t even talk about guns, Band Mini Pro second amendment groups, but yet he’s on their platform talking about school shootings and somehow they don’t catch that? But if I say masks don’t work on Facebook you get flagged for miss information.

I spoke with someone today, who suggested that it would be almost impossible for someone to buy 1,500 rounds of ammo in one lot these days, and also that it was likely no less than about $3,000 spent on the weapons, ammo, and flak vest. I don’t really know about these things, but have no reason to doubt these claims.

So, where would this unemployed high school dropout come up with that kind of money? Has anyone asked/said how he paid for the weapons and ammo, etc.? He doesn’t seem like the type to have a high-line credit card.

Also I have seen varying info as to whether he purchased the gun/s in MARCH or in MAY?

How many reasons would this appear to help the dems?
* Gun control
* NRA convention
* It is TX and Greg Abbott
* Try to generate sympathy for illegals?
* Retaliation for abortion legislation in TX?

Timing related to primaries, end of school year?

How can it possibly be explained that NONE of the LEO dared to go in, to try to save children?

Good thread on all the training the local police force received there and how they violated it.

A commentator today said that 18 minutes are now “missing”’from the police recording archive. Recording of the chatter from that day on the police channels.

How does someone manage to not be censored who for months brags about his guns and how he wants to be a school shooter and evidently has a big following, but if you say one thing that isn’t Marxist, transphile, or Islamophile you will be banned in a minute?

He did not legally buy any firearm.

'Let’s rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything': Parents frustrated...
Daily Mail
By Harriet Alexander
25 May 2022

"Jocelyn Rodriguez, 19, a Wendy's employee, told The New York Times that when she heard Ramos was the shooter, she was initially shocked, but then less surprised.

She knew him to have a bad temper and to snap at people...said he had a tendency to pick fights with co-workers, and would often talk about how much he hated his mother and grandmother, whom he told her did not let him smoke weed or do what he wanted.
"

[Something else interesting in the article:]

"Under a new Texas law passed in September, those aged 18-21 could buy guns if they had a protective order, because they were at risk of family violence, stalking, prostitution or sex trafficking."

[Did he have a protective order against someone else? I've seen no mention of it.]
