There was another school shooting plot aimed at a Uvalde school but it was thwarted when police arrested two teens who had detailed plans for what was described as a “mass casualty event.”
In 2018 police arrested two 13 and 14-year-old boys.
They initially plotted an attack at Uvalde High School in 2022, their senior year, on the anniversary of the Columbine High School shooting. But police said one of the teens convinced the other to move the date of the attack sooner and instead carry out the plot at Morales Junior High School that year.
The 2018 arrests have been brought to light and are being reexamined following Tuesday’s attack at Robb Elementary School, where an 18-year-old high school dropout killed 21 people. It’s not yet known if there is any connection to the 2018 plot.

Illegal Alien shenanigans. I still have relatives in the area, and I hear the tales of criminal activity that has spiked thanks to Biden’s border policy.
Sorry, my comment was for another thread.
“BREAKING NEWS: Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales says Uvalde gunman was arrested FOUR YEARS ago after telling people he planned to ‘shoot up a school once he’s a senior in 2022’
Tony Gonzales said on Friday that Salvador Ramos was arrested four years ago when he was a juvenile
He claimed the then 14-year-old told people: ‘When I’m a senior in 2022, I am going to shoot up a school’”
It seems to me that someone who threated mass murder as a teen should have a felony conviction that carries over into adulthood. This isn’t shoplifting. This isn’t stealing rims off a car. This is a serious felony, threatening to kill people.
Different guy.
They need to name the two juveniles. Especially if Ramos was the 13-year old.
What do you mean “different guy”? Rep. Gonzales is stating that he was told that Ramos was in fact, one of the two arrested in 2018 for plotting to shoot up a school.
Do you have other information debunking this claim?
What were the shooter’s comms? The Wi-Fi was shut off. 3 letters have the comms

It is now unclear if the shooter was one of the two kids detained.
If this was not the shooter, we need to find out who these kids are, where they are now, and if they were classmates of the shooter.
There is a clear need for mental health resources in our community.

Teacher should be fired and barred from every teaching again. You can’t violate security like that and ever be trusted again.
Not sure why it is taking them so long to clearly establish a yes or no answer on this question. It is an inflaming unknown and the dipshits running crisis management for Uvalde and the various law enforcement agencies need to get it together.
Easy for me to armchair it, but seriously, identify the most damaging unanswered questions and answer them as quickly and as definitively as possible. Honesty and transparency are the best and only way to deal with tragedy. Obfuscation just creates more rage.
There needs to be more restraint and an investigation. Old newspapers do indeed have this story but the connection with Ramos is not clear. Though they all seem to be in the same area, school, and age range.
Naturally no reason given as to why the teacher did that. Peons in the public not allowed to know what goes on in public schools.
It’s usually done for airflow because it’s hot or dank inside.
Trayvon Martin’s sister threatened to bomb her school. Such a nice family.
Now, now, you know it takes time. It takes time to let kids bleed out before ending the shooter and it takes time to pull up an arrest file. We have to organize a committee to decide if it’s easier to use a computer look through the PD arrests, walk down the street to check the court records, ask the other little punks or any of the town folk or just make a donut run. Heck, combine two and ask the pimple faced kid at the donut shop.
Most recently the presser we just saw.
If you are going to start talking about foiled plots, there are hundreds a year.
