Liz Cheney attacks the Republican leadership and says her colleagues have 'enabled white nationalism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism' after the Buffalo mass shooting

iz Cheney tore into her Republican colleagues on Monday for 'enabling white supremacy' after a racist gunman opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, killing 10.

'The House GOP leadership has enabled white nationalism, white supremacy, and anti-semitism,' the Wyoming GOP representative tweeted.

'History has taught us that what begins with words ends in far worse,' Cheney added. 'GOP leaders must renounce and reject these views and those who hold them.'

The comment came after an 18-year-old gunman with an 180-page manifesto descended on a Tops grocery store in Buffalo, New York on Saturday with a rifle killing 10 and injuring three others. Of the victims, 11 are black and two are white.

Cheney's condemnation of her own party also comes as some of her colleagues come under fire for pushing the 'great replacement' theory – a conspiracy that politicians are attempting to wipe out white Americans by replacing them with immigrants.

You’re confused as usual, Liz. It’s your leftist colleagues who have enabled and encouraged all of this hate and division.

Even the punk shooter is a leftist jerk.

“Liz sure loves to alienate herself from her party.”

Are you sure about that? She’s a “Republican” you know...

Is Liz Cheney still welcome in the House GOP caucus?

If the House GOP hasn’t booted her out for her hate mongering then that is the bigger issue.

It means that Liz Cheney has their tacit approval.

She is one of a very few Republicans who fan the fires of racism with words of this ilk. Supporting black racism is no way to stop white racism. Has she condemned the racism of BLM? I thought not.

What if everything the prognosticators is wrong? What if Mega-MAGA candidates can win and they are too afraid to try?

“Need to keep the RINOs out this primary season.”

But then elections come and we are told to vote for Dr. Oz because citizen patriots are unelectable against those ten feet tall Democrats.

This should get all Wyoming Republicans firmly in Cheney’s camp for the election. Excellent positioning, Liz! Brilliant. /s

“Get used to being called a “white supremacist” A LOT over the next two weeks.”

Not a big deal and certainly not a surprise. The establishment, the media and the wokesters have already desensitized me by labelling me a white privileged, heterosexual misogynistic homophobic racist patriarch for the past few years. Regardless of such idiocy and hatred on their part, I could care less what they think or say, so no big deal if they want to slap another label on my back.

To borrow a quote from a fellow FReeper:

“Not my circus; Not my monkeys.”

In a time with as corrupt a political entity as the Democrat Party, here is Liz to
affirm it’s really the Republicans who are out of line.

Little does she have the ability to realize it, but she is right to a degree, but
she would have no way of knowing why. It’s the RINOS like her that enable what
the Democrats are doing.

Seldom has such a corrupted entity existed in a normally well balanced society.

Liz has turned to evil along with her fellow travelers.

“Welcome to the party, pal!”

Oh I’m not new to that party. I’ve been there since as a teenager I watched Republican politicians openly support Lyndon Johnson over Barry Goldwater.

Senator Tom Kuchel was the classic example. He was the Republican whip in the U.S. Senate when he campaigned against Barry Goldwater in the 1964 election. The same dominant wing of the GOP didn’t support Reagan. And today they hate Trump.

Liz Cheney is just openly saying what most of the Republican party establishment believe. They just usually do a better job of concealing their contempt for the conservative voters whose votes they want. Bush junior was a classic example. I bet he fooled 90% of free republic.

” It’s the RINOS like her that enable what

One of the oddities of the way we use language is that we use an acronym meaning “Republican In Name Only” for the likes of Liz Cheney.

In reality she is what the Republican Party establishment is. Conservative voters have always been the outsiders.
