California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) is proposing to fight inflation by spending an additional $18.1 billion from the state’s budget surplus, adding money to the economy at a time when there are “too many dollars chasing too few goods.”
In a plan unveiled Thursday, Newsom’s office released several spending proposals to help Californians with high prices. Many of these are simply redistributive policies that spread money among key Democratic political constituencies, such as nursing staff:

They’re evil and crazy but not stupid. The people who vote for them are stoopid.
It’s their policies that driving inflation and job loss as well as population loss to other states. Nurse shortages are due to many refusing to “get the jab”and many others because the state’s using their tax dollars to subside failure, i.e. welfare, green energy, etc.
The only reason California hasn’t collapsed is their port facilities and Chinese money buying real estate. The middle class are renting u hauls and leaving.

LA is not presently preparing for the disastrous drought that has emptied Lake Mead and Lake Powell. Southern California is in bad trouble as the historically normal desert condition prevails
Politicians tend to react rather than act. There can be no positive reaction to the severe drought of ‘22
