On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Rep. and U.S. Senate candidate Tim Ryan (D-OH) said he wouldn’t support any restrictions on abortion if he is elected to the Senate and “you’ve got to leave it up to the woman.”
Host Bret Baier asked, [relevant remarks begin around 4:15] “As senator, would you have any limits on abortion?”

What is Ohio’s position? Are they going to be an abortion state?
As Ralph Northam (D) VA ex gov
“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen,” he continued. “The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

“If criteria such as the costs (social, psychological, economic) for the potential parents are good enough reasons for having an abortion even when the fetus is healthy, if the moral status of the newborn is the same as that of the infant and if neither has any moral value by virtue of being a potential person, then the same reasons which justify abortion should also justify the killing of the potential person when it is at the stage of a newborn.”

Senate Bill 669, otherwise known as the Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022
[T]he bill also proposes a revision of the fetal murder/manslaughter statute that would serve to handcuff the investigation of infant deaths unrelated to abortion
Any comment , Timmy?
That’s like saying, “I am not qualified to hold public office of any kind.”
Most countries in the European Union allow abortion on demand during the first trimester, with Sweden and the Netherlands having more extended time limits.[3] After the first trimester, abortion is generally allowed only under certain circumstances, such as risk to the woman's life or health, fetal defects, or other specific situations that may be related to the circumstances of the conception or the woman's age.
It's exactly this sort of compromise that SCOTUS had forbidden. I know that there are some people who opposed to abortion in all cases, but there are far more who are more nuanced. If we'd been dealing with this in the state legislatures we'd have long ago found some middle ground that both sides didn't like.
This will not play well in Ohio, excluding Cleveland, of course.
Hey man. . .tell that to Jesus!
I would require anesthesia for the baby and a decent burial for the situations where the law would permit it.
Yep, not that I think he could win Ohio anyway.. so he parroting theft extreme line to position the Dems there is a larger play not for him, but for his party
How does he feel about the wrath of the Lord for those who reject Him?
I just wish Tim’s mother had felt the same, and aborted him.
WTF is wrong with you? I suppose you think you're some sort of enlightened humanitarian even while promoting the murder of babies. Sad.
The chaff is separating itself from the wheat.
How very progressive of you.
Hey Tim, your mom called. She's happy that you agree with no limits. You're going away in the morning.

Richard Barris has some interesting numbers on abortion. Pro choice women only 17% of them approve of late term abortions. The other 83% are against late term abortions. This is the hard core of the abortion lobby and only 17% of them are willing to go the distance. And they work in the entertainment industry and advertising. 63.7 million abortions in the United States since 1973. The Democrats are killing their own maybe that’s why they have to import new voters via the southern border.
Tim Ryan: “I Don’t Support Any Limits on Abortion ... and my tv ads will show me committing an abortion to grab that all important loonatic left vote.”
Wouldn’t repealing Roe v Wade remove U.S. Senators from the abortion battle all together? The abortion battle would move to state legislatures.
Wish he’d been asked about legalized infanticide...
