The fact that the Right is cheering the buyout and Leftists are panicking over it should tell you all you need to know about Twitter’s current practices and who they have been censoring.
This would have been a great headline / story for the Bee a month ago.
I can’t wait until they serve me coffee.
Truthfully most will find employment.
I assume, without factual knowledge, that Twitter pays well and draws talented people.
I doubt that Musk will tolerate all the vile anti-semites and real Nazis and others who just can’t wait to put their shyt out there.
Those children are far too immature and stupid to be of any use to any company, so what did they do for the company?

The cycle of life. You win some, you lose some. A company is acquired and some folks lose their jobs. You learn to stop whining and start looking. No one much cares about your little coding job. You’ll find another, assuming your favorite current President has not already shipped coding jobs back to Mumbai contractors.

I had a lot of fun on Twitter between 2014 and 2017. In December of 2017, my page suddenly went dead. No notifications, no likes, no new followers. Nothing. Dead as hell. I was one of the first shadow bans. They don’t tell you when they do it. One of these screeching babies cruises around, decides they don’t like your account, and makes it invisible.
These losers can take the first train to hell for all I care.
I like anything that causes leftists to take to the ledge. I think so far this month in the culture war Normal people 2 and Pink haired degenerates 0. I expect some federal agency to climb up Musk’s pee hole. Twitter propaganda was a huge tool in stealing the election in 2020. Losing that was like losing their biggest battleship. The problem with pink-haired leftists is they are very derivative creatively. They will try another platform where they can censor and it will flop. See CNN ++

That’s what I mean. There will have to be censorship of blatant racism, terrorism, etc.
But that isn’t the what the leftists are really worried about. They want to characterize whatever they don’t happen to like or agree with AS racism, terrorism, or whatever their current boogeyman happens to be.
The people most upset with the buyout… probably drive Tesla cars.
