The few pics of the injured I’ve seen show leg wounds. Hard to imagine a shooter in such a confined space shooting and only hitting legs.

I saw video of the doors opening of the subway car when it reached the station. Lots of smoke and only a few people limping out. Most simply walked off, which indicate that it was most likely a smoke device. But still unknown. I will say that in my experience when people are firing weapons under duress, they tend to push the gun down as they fire.

Sunset Park is a very mixed area, although in recent years the Chinese population has risen. At first I thought this was a Ramadan celebration attack, but I don’t think they’d attack the Chinese in particular.
