Between Trump and DeSantis, I’m undecided at this point. Trump might be too old, or in ill health, by 2024. I’ll wait and see till the primary comes to California before I decide who to vote for.
DeSantis tried to get Rush to issue him a degree from his ‘Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies’. Too bad he was turned down because he really has earned it. I still prefer Trump though , if only because of the way he makes leftist heads explode.
Prefer DeSantis. Trump’s personnel picks were bad too often.

Geez, I was going to support DeSantis until I heard FNC liked him.
No President in history experienced the attacks DJT did from day one of his presidency. Few if any would have survived it, let alone thrived. He made mistakes, but he was still the best president we’ve ever had. I’m in for another term. I like Desantis but he couldn’t survive what Trump went through, let him be 2028, we’ll need him then.

Ron DeSantis will make a great president in the future. However he has made it perfectly clear numerous times that he will not run against Trump.
So if Trump chooses to run in 2024 and all indications are that he will, DeSantis will not run in that election.
Trump needs to run in 2024 and let Desantis stay as Governor of FL for 1 more year (2025), then appoint Desantis to some senior position in the Cabinet to give him a chance to re-build his DC network.
Desantis can resign in 2027 to run for POTUS.
Then, Desantis in 2028.
Is he running for reelection in Florida in 2022?
In 2018, he barely beat a scandal tainted Black Democrat.
