Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) claimed that more Senate Republicans would have voted to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court than did if her sentencing history had not been brought to light.
Cruz, speaking on the most recent episode of his Verdict podcast, said that besides the three Republican senators — Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Mitt Romney (R-UT) — who voted for Jackson, more would have voted for her if her sentencing history was not exposed.

Once a couple RINOs announced support, the votes of the other RINOs didn’t matter and they could cover their behinds. Nothing can be learned about their ‘courage’.
“Justice Groomer” works better. Most Democrat appointed SCOTUS justices are tokens of one kind our another. For instance Sotomayor is the token “Wise Latina” justice and Kagen is the token mentally handicap justice.
I tend to agree, although there may have been doubt about Sinema and Manchin. Doubt becomes reality in DC.

OMG! I did not realize she was so spectacularly inexperienced as a judge. Thanks for posting. My goodness, that should be disqualifying alone! How can someone do the most difficult and important judicial job in the country with only 9 months’ experience as a judge?!?! Terrible.

About the rioters and extremists of January 6, I watched the proceedings on Jan. 6. Congress had just started to read the state by state results in alphabetical order. The first two responding states Alabama, Alaska said that their count was good. The representative from Arizona said that there were some problems with Arizona’s ballots so the ballot counting was suspended and the various representatives got up and started going to their offices. At this time a noises started outside the House of Representative doors and representatives started trying to get out of the room. We never heard what happened with the count. We hadn’t heard from all the other states? Was the election actually certfied? It looked like a big charade to me.
We are just begining to learn how extensive sexual child abuse is among the rich and powerful. The Jenie is out of the bottle.
