(CNN)Most Americans say the way they conduct their lives is still affected to some extent by the pandemic, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll released Wednesday, though fewer say their activities remain dramatically curtailed. A majority also favor continued masking in some public places, and say they've continued to wear masks in some, though not necessarily all, situations when they're indoors and in public.
The results -- and the marked partisan and demographic splits that characterize them -- highlight the nuances and fault lines that mark Americans' response to Covid-19 more than two years after the start of the pandemic.

I am required to wear a procedural mask at certain times for my health-related job. No big deal. Slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, my experience with this pandemic has only been that of witnessing massive hype in amusement. No jabs. My body was not created for injections of synthetic substances to combat synthetic ills. A massive crime against humanity has been perpetrated, and Fauci is at the heart of it.
I really think they have turned into security blankets. I see people wearing masks pulled below their nose or chin. I really can’t understand this.
I’ve been telecommuting for more than a decade and I’ve been married for a while so I am adept at social distancing - this nonsense didn’t really affect me. It did affect my children though. Their school finally went mask optional a few months ago and hardly anyone still wears them.
